In fact, the SEC presidents met on Aug. 30 without LSU on the call — the first real sign that something big was brewing. They discussed the plethora of options as reported in that Aug. 31 story from Yahoo Sports: a boycott of LSU, a suspension or probation, and, yes, expulsion. The group met again on Friday, a day before LSU's season opener, to continue those discussions, digging deeper into the legal maneuvers necessary to make such an unprecedented move happen.

All I’ll say is good luck if these SEC presidents with ACC friendships think that bringing in one of those schools would be the same $$$ value. They aren’t as smart as they think.

This is pretty embarrassing for the rest of the SEC. They look like a bunch of soy boys. They are going to make LSU stronger and cripple themselves. Good move.

So they’re mad cause it’s possible we break the rule. Look I’m tired of talking about it. If you don’t want us in the conference kick us out. Life goes on. But the wishy washy “well I don’t like you” and “you could potentially do this” comments are dumb. Just do it. It is funny that Bama housed a pro basketball player last year is sitting in those meetings though. Pretty ironic lol.

My concern is that they get hit with probation/sanctions which leads LSU to file an injunction in local court which forces the leagues hand resulting in them being kicked out.
