Jim Howington of Nashville Banner states Leach suffered brain trauma that is not survivable.
247's Steve Robertson reported earlier that coach had been moved to comfort care, essentially hospice. He has been "largely if not totally nonresponsive since the cardiac event yesterday morning."
awful news. Prayers to his family.

If he’s staying in the hospital on hospice, it’s probably anticipated to be a short stay on hospice.

Several minutes without oxygen and non-responsive since incident. Horrible. Prayers to family, players, coaches, and university

He's likely going to palliative care and will pass very shortly after he's extubated and removed from any vasopressors he's on. It's different than hospice.

I am still just as heartbroken as I was yesterday when I heard the news. We are losing one of the good ones.
Thoughts and prayers for his family, friends, current and former players, State and their fanbase...........and the entirety of college football. Coach never fit into any mold. Sadly, we will never see another one like him.
God bless and RIP, Pirate.

Is this from the "final update" from a few hours ago, or something else?

This looks most likely given the hospital’s departments and services.
