Our number seems to be called at very precise times.

What are the odds that a guy like Mike Leach is alone on his couch for a significant period of time during football season when he's typically surrounded by other people, medical staff etc while in football ops.

I hope he kicks out like the undertaker and gives us a harrowing tale of swinging his sword in the afterlife but sadly it sounds like this was his time to go seafaring in the next realm.

This is not good, my wife is a hospice RN and said its likely he doesn't make it through the end of the week. Praying for him and his family. I couldn't imagine.

As a Tech grad this breaks my heart. Prayers to the entire MSU family.

However, I have to smile thinking of Leach holding up the line at the pearly gates talking to St Peter about odds and ends.

I've stayed out of the other threads due to all of the non-related stuff in them but it's time to give the man my respect.

Leach is a national treasure. I really wanted him for the Arkansas job the last two times it was open. I was a HS OC for quite a while and we ran a similar system. I would watch his teams every week to see what new wrinkles he was putting on the concepts. Great football mind but maybe one of the greatest minds on the planet. You could tell he was a deep thinker and was able to separate work and down time. Still praying for a miracle and hoping he can pull a miraculous recovery but if he can't I pray for grace and peace and comfort for him and his family. Thoughts and prayers with the entire Bulldog family from your Razorback brothers!

That's terrible news for his family and for MSU fans....

Definitely cut from a different cloth, but a super interesting guy from interviews I've seen with him the past..

Former Bama great had same situation where CPR did not happen until 15 plus minutes after the heart attach. Restarting the heart soon after is key to surviving. I hope this is not the case for Mike

Prayers to Coach Leach's family. He's a national treasure. Brilliant mind. Has a law degree from Pepperdine.
