I liked it, but the absolute absurdity of the ending scene with her doing her best Ferris Bueller impression took it down a few pegs for me. It was just laughably stupid.
I actually liked the ending. I thought it balanced the whole movie well, included a satisfying payoff, and was original/outside-the-box. The scene also brought dimension to the antagonist, which is what good writing is supposed to do.
I went in blind trying to finish watching this year’s Oscar nominees. Fantastic movie. Original and well played. Amy Madigan as Gladys was amazing.
Was not mentally prepared for that genre tonight.

I like that they posted a picture of the Waffle House in question.
“All right, we’re gonna show you a series of photos. Tell us when you see the Waffle House that did this to you.”

At Home, hang and reuse for a week or so.
At a hotel, that’s a different matter entirely. I drop that thing on the floor and request housekeeping every day.

UK’s Prince Andrew arrested today, his 66th birthday. First royal arrest in 400 years

The arrest, on suspicion of misconduct in public office, relates to Andrew's time as the UK's trade representative between 2001 and 2011. It follows a series of allegations, prompted by the release of the Epstein files, that Andrew shared official documents.

5/5. Plemons was snubbed. So far it’s the best movie I’ve seen this year. Still have more to go though.
Spoilers: Holy shite that ending.

It was interesting but weird. Solid 4 of 5 stars. Not Leo’s best role, but the script didn’t give him the same opportunities to shine like many of his priors.
Watched last night. Fantastic film. If you prioritize cinematography and acting, you will like this film. Very meaningful and moving. Does what art is supposed to.
I went in knowing zero about it and thought it was great and different. Though unique, still had excellent story structure and narrative. Strong performances though nothing ground breaking in that regard. Loved the music.
Umanmielen officially committed to LSU!
