Well I don’t blame administration. They just spent money 150 million between salaries for coaches and players and buy outs. Rich people do t get rich throwing good money after bad results. It’s not the Bama loss even. Bama has historically beaten LsU throughout history. You can lose that game every year and just beat the teams you should and no one would give a flip. You can’t annually get bested by Bama and then lose to Kentucky, Ole Miss or Troy and expect to keep your job. They’re not even remotely thinking of firing Oane but LdU put themselves in a hole money wise to see results and at least a playoff bid. Even if they somehow make the playoffs it will be like 2007 when they lucked into the BcS because of 1 million things happening and backing their way in. There a lot more money on the table now than 2007. I’d be pissed too.

I don’t understand why everyone is blaming him. It’s not his fault he wasn’t able to sign NFL players.

I'll give the administration enough credit for at least addressing the issues head on and not just kicking the issue down the road hope for improvement.

LSU didnt back their way into the 2007 bcs. They earned it. name me a team with a better record considering the SOS. Also BAma backed their way into the 2011 game after losing to LSU according to your methodology.

As many of us said Lane should’ve never left Oxford and retired as a legend for that school.

LSU is going to eat him alive.
