Kelly did not put the expected effort into his job. He failed miserably and did not perform very well.

yes, see the Bayeux Tapestry. 230 foot long story of the 1016 Norman Conquest. Visit the US cemetery of course. But also visit the English and German cemeteries which are all so different. Don't go to just the water's edge but walk into the water as far as you dare and then look back. Private guide by car is a great way to do it. Go see Utah, Omaha, Point Du Hoc. Warning, the US cemetery is an incredible gut wrenching visit. Might be the most important trip one will ever make.
I have a lot of Cajun in my family and I was born and raised in Eunice. Stop the Cajun bashing. The English have been doing this for a long time. I want U of L Lafayette to be renamed the Fightin Nutria. All people with Acadian DNA of any amount should receive reparations immediately for the "Grand Dérangement" . I would like LSUE to become the new Flag Ship School of Louisiana. There should be no tariffs on boudin, gratons, and mirlitons. And last but not least: Mais Qui,President Landry talks good yeah, Sha (Cher).
You are sadly underestimating Coach Frank's leadership ability. Football x's and o's are not that hard. Leadership ability is invaluable. Yes, OC and DC are important roles that LSU should fill with clearly qualified candidates. Recruiting under Coach Frank and Kelvin would be incredible. There would be no soft culture of finesse football under these guys. UTSA and Mcneese were not ever going to have the players that LSU can get. There would be no quit in LSU teams under Coach Frank.
imagine waking up on your birthday at 64 years of age and realizing that you have put in almost 4 decades into your job, fatigue is upon you, and you can retire with 53 million on top of the other millions you own. Generational wealth allows you to relax in knowing that your grandchildren are good. Now it is time to pick up that fly rod and go to every bucket list river there is and wet a line. Good for you, CBK!
"As a parent, I would be telling my child to play football anywhere else but LSU."

Shut up.
He is a leader of young men. I would be glad for Coach Frank to be the head coach. I think he would recruit the hell out of Louisiana. He knows football. With a really good OC and DC, Coach Frank could be a great coach at LSU. But once again, if he has a subpar season we will run him right out of the hallowed Tiger Stadium.
And you got OBJ coming on the field handing out cash :-)
I hope Frank doesn't become head coach. He would eventually get run out on a rail just like Mac, Stovall, Archer, Hallman, Dinardo, Miles, O, and Kelly. Arnsbarger and Saban and Dietzel left before the vultures got to em. Frank doesn;t deserve that.
Brian Kelly has had a very successful career coaching college football. One of the winningest coaches of all time. He has made a ton of money. Clearly near retirement age. Seems to me he is doing pretty well and I wish him nothing the but the best.
Bingo. College football success requires a mobile qb willing to run when needed. Even with a great O-line you still need a qb to run to get the occasional first down especially with DB's whose backs are to the line of scrimmage and wide open running lanes. The qb doesn't have to be Jaden Daniels good but needs to be willing to run and a good runner.
Unfortunately, I think he lacks standard wide receiver instincts: very unorthodox approach to the ball, doesn't know when or if to leave his feet, and I have no idea if he has great hands or not. Hope he can improve!
