Arkansas had good lines on both sides of the ball and good backs. Miles lost to Arkansas because he was afraid or too stupid to use a more wide open offense against Arkansas and Alabama for that matter. He played to both of those opposing teams strength.
Weird that I have loved listening to Don ( a little taste of home) while on my way to fly fish up here in North Arkansas or duck hunting or going to work. Thanks Don!
George Carlin, Jonathon Winters, Stephen Wright, 3 Stooges, Laurel and Hardy, Groucho Marx, Cheech and Chong, Flip Wilson, Richard Pryor, Gene Wilder, Johnny Carson, me.
Same here! I could get a touch of home when listening to Don in the early am.
He has multiple of millions of dollars and you think he is done?
He may be spending the time of his life with family and grandkids and playing all the golf he wants. He is likely living a dream.
Do you think starting the season later with hope of more cold weather would bring more ducks into Louisiana?
Don't discount Monster's base running not related to stealing base. I think he is excellent (off the ball) so to speak.
He was absolutely hurt. His throwing motion was distorted by his torso injury. He short armed a lot of throws with arm tucked too close to torso. He would wince often while trying to move about. Unfortunately , VAn Buren was not a great option to go to as was proven by horrible offensive play when he did get in.
It was refreshing to see a team that tackles so well. Why dont the 5 stars tackle this well?
what would you Rebs know about winning a NC!
generally, the longer the you tube, the worse it is in regards to quality. You tube really is starting to suck.
Lane don't need no protection. He will invite any instigators into the locker room for a lesson in manners.
2 cases:

During my 3rd year of my residency while working in the Coronary Care Unit, the nurse called me into a patient's room for sudden severe shortness of breath. He had recently had a heart attrack. I noted that he was not able to speak and and was turning blue. He had a dinner plate in front of him. First thing that came to mind was a coronary event, but I am glad the old "cafe coronary" came quickly to mind. I performed a Heimlich and a big old wad of chicken came flying out and he quickly recovered. It was ludicrous that this MI patient was in CCU and about to die due to chicken.

We were at big family gathering. My son was 4 years old and somehow got a hold of uncut grape. He was tryiing to breath and talk. I fortunately was very close. Performed Hemilich and grape popped out to the floor.

Up to 10-15 years ago, I had enormous amount of Mallards and Grays stop on my pond as they moved further south. Now just a few stragglers here and there. My gumbo supply has gone dry. :wah:

Also my neighbor moved and no longer is there Millet farming on his land and thus dove hunt has gone dry.

At least deer population is gigantic. And trout are always here even though some unhealthy tailwater situations of recent has caused some problems.
Plenty of squirrels and rabbits.
