My first game I got to go to was against Ole Miss in 68. At home. The Rebels were coming out on the field when the fans used to be right on top of em and the LSU fans were spitting on the Ole Miss players. I knew right then that Ole Miss was trash and must of done some bad things to be spit on and that I would hate them forever. The good old days are back!!! GTHOM, GTH! And yeah, at age 10 watching LSU shove the ball down Archie Who's throat in 1970 on national TV was a blast !!!!!

PS: I almost went to Ole Miss for college. :yack:
"I'm told I was conceived that night!.""People have forgotten the DEFENSIVE play Billy Cannon made near the end of the game that sealed victory. Without that play the Fightin' Tigers lose. I'm told I was conceived that night!."

That's cool! I was a 6 month old fetus at the time. One of the greatest games I have experienced. On Cannon's punt return I developed a migraine due to the compression waves in the amniotic fluid. Still remember my parents going crazy, as was my twin brother and me.
Ed made a lot of money with his coaches salary. Just a guess but probably worth at least 7 million. That would put him in the top 5% nationally for his age. Invest that wisely with a diversified portfolio and at the age of 67 he is SET. Unless he is a gigantic spend thrift then all bets are off. But he can spend 150,000 per year and live a very comfortable life. So I bet he is set. Sad if he isn't.
Mexicans cook with a disco outdoors which is essentially a griddle and its so damn good
Good job. You taught him a lesson, not Skenes.
Laugh More,
You from Ville Platte, Baw?
Go watch Men and Women's LSU tennis. very skilled players who have trained extensively for over a decade. Thousands of hours honing their skill. Great Athletes. Intense competetion. Great tennis venue at LSU. Fast paced and fun. Go get em Tigers
I'll meet you at the Green Wing
Shaq was really raw. Stanley Roberts was the more talented big man at that time but he was not very motivated. Mahmoud Abdul Rauf talks about trying to get Roberts motivated. Even Dale Brown, the master motivator, wasn't able to do it.
I recommend eating at The Pelican, Ruby's, Reeds Dairy Treat, Nick's, The Frostop, The Oleander, Fontenot's Cafe. Also stop in the Easy Shop for some candy cigarettes and a Chocolate Soldier.
O has plenty of money. He is set for life. He is 64 years old and can just enjoy what he does best: recruiting and defensive line coaching. Good for O. Good for LSU.
Food way better in Eunice. Girls are way prettier in Eunice. And Eunice loves the LSU Tigers. Football better than basketball.
Ouch, bro! :spank: :doublebird: :snoozer:
Anger management issues?
answering my own question. Went to overall stats in the sec and LSU gave up way more runs and earned runs. They also gave up many more walks. tons of hit batters. Teams batting average against LSU was not good from LSU standpoint but fairly close to the other sec teams. Team ERA terrible
Not sure I remember any years like this before. Is it like this for most of the other sec teams this year?
I'm 66. fully retired x six years. I am not bored at all. Staying very active with competitive age group tennis tournaments. Play tennis 4 to 5 times per week. Fly Fish about 2 to 3 times every couple weeks. Read a fair amount. Travel a fair amount.Maintain my pond and a clay tennis court. Spend time with the Mrs. I am in good shape for my age but fatigue keeps me from being bored. Boredom is welcome and infrequent. I am really grateful to God for this time in my life. My advice is to keep active and no need to sweat the small stuff.. I do not relish the stress of working and 35 years of it was enjoyable but I'm am glad to be done.
We look pretty small next to Georgia and A and M players.
Be careful what you ask for! College tennis has become a predominantly foreign born sport. And even though tennis popularity in the US is growing strongly, the college tennis world is dropping programs left and right.
I have a big green Bronco Everglades. Drives well. Got a wench on it and love helping people get out of snow and ice. I drive to a river a couple hours away, fish all day and then sleep in it overnight and fish the next day. It was made to rock climb but I ain't doing that. It is loud inside when on the road.

He played in the Bigs and most minor league players never get the chance.
