If you exclude tRant, I'd move USC in front of Arkansas. Those games are always very entertaining, plus the battle for Columbia is arguably the most meaningful trophy in sports.

personally I dislike UK more than Arkansas too.

1. Egg Bowl
2. LSU
3. Arkansas

We aren't "rivals" with Memphis or Vanderbilt. Memphis thinks we are rivals, but we aren't, and Vandy really doesn't care. We aren't "rivals" with Southern Miss either, although they'd claim we are simply because we share a state.

Non conference?
None. Those are our 3 historic rivalries. If Texas joins, they'll all be SEC from then on.

Probably:

1. Florida or Alabama
3. Auburn
4. Ole Miss
5. Arkansas or A&M

My perspective is skewed by my Fandom for the last 25 years. I recognize if I grew up in the 50s or 60s Ole Miss would be #1 and Auburn wouldn't be on the list

Non-conference (our actual rivals): 1. Kansas, 2. Nebraska, 3. Colorado

Our traditional rivals, in order, were:

kU
Nebraska
Iowa St
Illinois (basketball)
OU

Colorado was never really a rivalry of any kind (no trophy or named game with them), although we certainly had plenty of history with them.

With OU joining I would rate our rivalries going forward like this:

kU
Illinois (basketball)
OU
Arky
South Carolina
UK

Bama and Georgia has now become more of a rivalry

Kind of depends on what you mean by rivalry. To me it's not just another good team that you play big games against, it's a team that just thinking about losing to puts a knot in your stomach and makes you feel depressed. I feel that way about Auburn and Tennessee but not about UGA or LSU (no disrespect intended for anyone mentioned). Anyway, that's my 2 cents.

Really? I have always considered Colorado to be a more meaningful rival to us than Iowa State, Illinois, or Oklahoma.

The Mizzou-Colorado football series is 41-31 all-time in our favor, much closer than Iowa State (we dominate them), Oklahoma (they dominate us), or Illinois (we dominate them). We've also only played Illinois about 25 times ever.

The Fifth Down game was against Colorado, that should have stopped them from winning a championship. We spoiled each other's seasons frequently for many years. Boulder was the best Big 12 road trip. The programs were frequently comparable (sleeping giants with lukewarm fanbases).

By comparison, I never cared much about Iowa State or OU, because those games were typically so lopsided one way or the other.

No, UK fans think this was an attack on Uk.

All he said was he dislikes playing UK MORE than Arkansas. He didn't say UK was his biggest Rival. That's where Kentucky fans have been hung up on this. This may very well have been a sneaky jab at Arkansas more so than anything to do with UK more I think about it.

5th down is the only thing I think about with Colorado. You take that away, Colorado is absolutely non-existent to me.

This is spot on what I was gonna post. Except I actually have Ole Miss and Florida reversed.

Agreed - there were a few basketball games that were pretty epic too but otherwise they really ranked last in the Big 8 in games I cared about, behind Oklahoma State and K-State

Early 2000s would have definitely been UGA, Tennessee and Auburn. Probably have to slide LSU in there now. Used to be a decent SEC championship game rivalry with Alabama, but we don't get there enough now.

OOC - obviously FSU and Miami. Not sure who the 3rd would be, maybe Ohio State based on championship history in football/basketball? Or Michigan? A lot of interaction with those fanbases in Florida too.
