Be honest and tell me why you’re think OU a will not be the 2nd or 3rd best team in the sec. this years ranking shows OU at worst number 4 nationally.. most have us number 2. Usually we are top 5. Consistently finishing top 5 as well.

You didn't get those rankings while playing in the SEC. You've all cried for years that the rankings are biased towards the SEC. You're about to find out you've been full of shite.

You finished behind Alabama and A&M last year and I’d be willing to bet the house Georgia would beat you. LSU had an off year but they beat you 9/10 too.

Not anti OU, but I do think OU will take some losses as the grind of the SEC schedule wears on them. That being said, OU's offense is a lot easier to prepare for when one has two or three weeks, than 3 days.

Apples to oranges.
Until you’re playing SEC caliber teams weekly, it’s all speculation.

This is like UCF claiming a national title because they were the only “undefeated” team in the country.

I think you guys park right behind UGA and LSU.

Do you need a reminder of the playoff games you’ve been in?

OU is always top 5 because everyone expects y'all to run roughshod over everyone else in your shitty conference to a 12-0 record every year.

12-0 is alot different when you go through some combination of Bama, A&M, LSU, Georgia, Florida, Auburn, Ole Miss, MSU, Tennessee, & Kentucky to get there.

Ain't no Kansases here.

I doubt that anyone with a whit of intelligence would be surprised if y'all are up there. It's that we don't think you realize what you're walking into in this conference. shite's getting ready to get real!

You guys will understand why we don’t think you’re a top 2 or 3 SEC team. Will you be after 5 or 6 years of acclimation? Maybe

Not 2nd or 3rd in the SEC, 2nd or 3rd in the West - big difference.

Landing at, say 3rd or 4th in the SEC overall could mean a 8-4 season and a number 15 ranking. Not bad by any stretch but not what OU is used to.

I'm not anti-OU. Oklahoma is a good program and I like their fans.

I'm anti-expansion, as are many of us. But it's inevitable, so here we sit.

Idk of that many OU haters on here. I think OU will become one of the 5 teams in the conference easily. Just depends on the year. And right now they’d be top 3.

The thing about OU that we can hate on, is every time it comes down to the CFP, you lose to an SEC school. Every time you won a bowl game vs an SEC opponent, it was a disappointed team that was on the border and didn’t make the playoff. Then you see all the OU fans acting like they’d take over the SEC. In those games OU treated it like the National Title, while the SEC teams were disappointed to even be there.

Now I realize I’m an Ole Miss fan, and in no way am I claiming to be better or remotely close to Oklahoma as far as football programs. Honestly I’d rank Oklahoma 2nd and at worst 1a, 1b with UGA behind Bama as far as consistently being very good or great. But then again it depends on the year. The difference between the SEC, and Big 12, is that a change in one player, one year, can win a title with programs like Auburn, Florida, LSU ect. Oklahoma has had some of the greatest CFB players and a shite ton of recent heismans, and still can’t win the entire thing. UGA and OU are almost the same when it comes to football.

Exactly, it isn't that I don't think they will be competitive, in fact I expect their style of football to produce some big upsets. But I also expect their defense to cost them some games especially late in the year. Like a powerful heavyweight fighter with a glass jaw.

Recently, you guys have feasted on a weak conference. Away games are a completely different animal in the SEC. Walking into Tiger Stadium, Bryant-Denny, Jordan-Hare, Vaught-Hemmingway, Neyland, The Swamp, etc. and coming away with a W is infinitely more difficult than winning at Baylor, TCU, Kansas, etc.
