What do you think your record against Arkansas, tu, LSU, A&M, Mizzou, Ole Miss and State will be over the next decade?

Hell of a lot better than .500.

You guys are going to have to prove it. You have not been to Death Valley at night then the swamp the next week, followed by the plains or t town. It’s a freakin gauntlet like you can’t even imagine.

Bama won two National championships when they were second in the SEC West.

It’s probably harder to win the SEC than it is the National championship, as a matter of fact it definitely is a lot harder

I think it would be a short list of non-trolling people here that genuinely don't think OU is a top 3 SEC school right now.

OK - I'll take that question. To be Top 3 - I shouldn't be able to name more than two schools better than they are.

'Bama, Georgia, A&M ... they lose to all three if they played this year.

It’s all moot until we step on the field. Nothing matters until we’re in the conference and going through the gauntlet. All this mental masturbation is good entertainment though. Though everyone in the big 12 gives us their best game (it’s their cfp) their is a big difference between the top programs in the SEC and the Top in the big 12. The bottom teams in both leagues are average or worse. Vandy, Arkansas, miss, tenn, Kentucky, SC, are no better than Baylor, wv, isu, tt etc. The top of the league is much more competitive than the big 12. Alabama is the goat, Georgia, LSU (most years) all have more talent than teams in the big 12. We’ll be competitive immediately but the top of the SEC is much stronger. Iron sharpens iron, gonna be fun.

Disagree on A&M. Georgia would be a toss up but Rattler > Daniels.

Oklahoma would probably be the 2nd best team in the league this year.

Honest question I would like to get an OU answer: When is the last time OU played a night game in front of more than 40k fans?

It's just the logical choice

Just team by team. What do you think you’ll be against Arkansas? 7-3? 8-2?

Just do that for all teams that will be in the new look SEC West. Just curious.

They are far less talented than those three teams. They’d have a great chance of losing at Death Valley or at Jordan Hare as well.

Just my personal opinion. Watched JT Daniels a lot his freshmen year but only once last year. I just think Rattler has a high ceiling and an offense made to showcase that. Georgia typically does things a little differently

If Oklahoma goes 8-2 against the Hogs first year in - the conference has done something terribly wrong. And Sankey should be hung. Not fired. Hung.

You do realize that that is a logically absurd statement, right?

For every SEC team who won the national championship without winning a conference, there's another SEC who won the conference without winning a national championship.

And that doesn't include the years where tOSU, Clemson, FSU won it.

You might ought to put a bit more thought into your posts before posting them.

A&M has a more talented team than OU. Top 2 defense in the SEC with arguably the best defensive line in the country, best TE in the country, NFL talent on the offensive line, decent WRs.

You just don't have the defensive personnel for SEC dominance and never really have.

You're team composition will have trouble over 12 games. They had trouble over 10 games in the big12 last year.

Lincoln needs to start recruiting differently now.
