More like, ultra-serious about winning.

Not sure why the SEC is clutching their pearls over something they "believe" is happening.
If LSU violates rules, punish them; if not, don't worry about it. Simple.

They are so mad about Kiffin coming to LSU. This is delicious

When it comes to boards of state colleges, don't they all have political influence?

Imagine Louisiana STATE University has some responsibilities to the Louisiana STATE governor. How insane is that?

My favorite excerpt from that article was this:
quote:
All of this may seem like a distinction without a difference to those watching from afar. After all, the SEC, like everywhere else in college sports, has a long and colorful history of outlaw programs and cheating scandals. And it was just last basketball season that Alabama suited up a player who was in the G League the week prior.
There is no question hypocrisy is everywhere, and the rocks being chucked at the Tigers are coming from campuses full of glass houses.

Holy cow. They keep throwing things up against the wall to see what sticks. And now it is undue political influence. Just laughable at this point.

This particular episode didn't get political until the SEC went batshit crazy and started talking expulsion over. What exactly?

This is the SEC perpetuating its systemic institutionalized terrorism against the only true Patriot of the SEC, you’re Louisiana State University Fighting Tigers.

And we're not just going to stand here and have you bad-mouth the United States of America. Gentlemen!

Did you know that Kalen Deboer receives money from Alabama tax payers every few weeks? ????????

Reading the article, it sounds like actual fear. For all the posturing by the conference, they seem to believe they may not actually be able to control LSU.
Which adds up if you think about it. If you're coming from a true position of power and authority, let your rules and consequences do the talking. There is no need for empty threats that no one expects you to follow through with anyway.

You have now started exactly 32 threads about LSU or Lane Kiffin in the last 2.5 weeks.

Like I said, it would be embarrassing to be a fan of any other SEC school right now

Still no one can say what rules were broken

These other programs want lsu at the 5 to 10 range of the conference. With the never was programs like ole miss and texas am. Good enough to give the top teams a game but not dispute the top of the totem pole.
