Let's goooooo :geauxtigers:
Posting for the gear
A unit at Valero Port Arthur apparently exploded. Not sure if that could travel that far but from reports, it made houses shake in the surrounding area.
re: I wouldn’t be surprised if we trade up to #6 and then reach with the Pick.

We still aren’t in a position to trade up like that. Like last year, we’ll let the draft come to us and land some good players.
I think the youth today view Hitler and most of world war 2 as an internet meme. Something they are so disconnected from because like those of our generation they didn’t grow up with parents, grandparents, relatives, or neighbors who fought and died in the war.
They aren’t doing things like this maliciously. They are doing them because they think it’s funny and also to them it’s ancient history of which they have no connection.
For these kids, I think a visit to the World War 2 museum would do wonders to educate them of what happened and what the gesture they are throwing up casually means.
I don’t think it’s soft or “cuck” to educate the youth so they understand.

That sonny's would even be mentioned in terms of being the best is the point.
Just because some rando mentioned Sonny's as the best doesn't reflect on the actual good BBQ places in the city.
quote:
BR bbq scene is horrid. its a really LOW bar to become the best here. That is a FACT
It's not horrid. It's just not Texas or a region known for BBQ. Salt Pepper Oak and Offset are more than fine enough for Baton Rouge and places one can get really good BBQ done right.
That's a FACT.

Sonny’s BBQ is still the best BBQ in the city.

And that right there is the sad, but true state of bbq in br.
It's not sad nor is it even true.
Salt Pepper Oak is my favorite with Offset Smoker and Smoke Bayou behind them. All three are fine enough options to scratch your BBQ itch without going to Sonny's.

"Dixon Cyder" (say it out loud).
I legit laughed out loud when I realized this. Twitter (X) used to be so legit for information. Now it's a sea of troll accounts.

Not a strange post at all. No different than all the threads crying about the money spent for x player or the new one about dead money. Literally nothing we can do as fans. No reason to bitch or moan. Nothing going to change by being a bitch and not agreeing with the moves the front office make. Just watch the damn games and root for the Saints to win
This is a message board to discuss the Saints and Saints players (current, former and in between). Dude, log off and go take a nap or something

Who cares. You people worry about shite thats out of your control too much. I root for the Saints, not a player. If cam or demario can go get paid elsewhere, oh well. Thank you for what you did here.
What a strange post

Doesn't seem like it's a done deal, but where there's smoke...
We'll miss you, Cam. An all-time Saints great.

re: Why is Mickey all of a sudden competent?

Mickey hung around long enough to possibly nail the hiring of Moore and the drafting of Shough.
Regardless of good or lucky, I’ll be happy to see the Saints competing again

Free agency when you have a potential franchise QB on a rookie deal. It's fun!
Loomis got the checkbook ready. :nana:
BOOM: Saints sign Bills guard David Edwards

David Edwards to the good guys.
Huge spot of need and I'm very happy with this one.

Kenneth Walker to the Chiefs
I know some thought the Saints could be in play here, and also may take Chiefs out of the Love running for the draft.

re: What was your first real job in high school? Like where you had to clock in, etc.

Worked as a lifeguard at the Country Club we belonged to throughout high school. Kind of a right of passage for the older kids who went to that particular club. Also worked for the catering company attached to the country club for weddings and such. Used to make, what I thought, was incredible money at the time.
As a senior, I worked at B. Dalton in Oakwood Mall. I loved it so much.

Not most, but recent.
I did about 2.5 hours of yard work yesterday to get my overgrown yard in shape.
Worked until the sun went down and was too late to cook dinner. DoorDashed 15 wings and fries from Empire Wingz on Sherwood. Just straight up inhaled them and could have eaten probably 15 more.

Kids should not be allowed at breweries
Breweries don't bother me. People aren't going to breweries and getting smashed like they would at a bar.
Kids in public are fine. It's bad parents that make it not fine.
Wife and I were at a restaurant with friends a few days ago. Place was basically empty. A young couple came in with their kid, maybe 3-4 years old. Precious little girl but they let her run all over the restaurant. Several times she walked over to our table and just stood there, watching us. And I worried because based on her height it would have been easy to turn suddenly and she could catch an elbow.
The parents would just watch and do nothing. We made a few light hearted jokes and they got up and got her, but within seconds she was back.
It wasn't her fault. She was a little kid. But the parents were content letting her treat a restaurant like a playground.
