Gordon needs to stay in his lane. Personal injury,…..

LSU kisses Gordon’s arse every chance they get since he’s paying so many athletes.

Georgia is 1-9 vs Bama over that same timeframe.

Tennessee is 2-12.

Should bama just not play primetime games?

Here’s a little newsflash for you, Saban was really, really good.
The fact that Verge said this makes me believe even more that there is a possibility of Saban coming to LSU.
Shorten the game. 3.5-4 hours in a tiger stadium seat is tough. People always say traffic, but it’s really the fact that the majority of the free parking is around a mile away from the stadium.
Did the same Blue Jays fan in LF catch both home run balls? It looked like he at least got a hand on the one in the 11th.

When talking about the members of the coaching search committee Verge said somebody was the CEO of Oschner then he said I mean OLOL. Nothing like saying a major donor works for his main rival.

Maybe little screwup's like that are how we get screwed so often on home/away non-conference matchups that he’s in charge of scheduling.

Ok, so if someone accuses you of something that was never found to be true/dismissed.... should those allegations be held over your head for the remainder of your professional career?

It shouldn’t, but it sure as hell does in most every other walk of life.
Sure the sexual abuse lawsuit was dismissed by a jury, but for the key guys to keep moving up is pretty crazy in this day and age. Maybe LSU isn’t so PC after all.
Biggest thing I took away from that is that Verge and major donors will be hiring the new football coach. Not the new coach’s actual boss, the AD.

What a mess.

Yes, Jeff Landry needs to shutup, but it was the bigtime boosters’ call, not Landry’s. LSU’s billionaire mega-donors, like any other school, aren’t guys who put up with much bs when it affects their wallet. Woodward didn’t stand a chance after screwing up the football coaching hire.

Now we need to hire someone ASAP so Verge doesn’t do anything stupid.

No mobile QB for Bama. Baker will be aggessive, blitzers getting home unlikely to lose contain or have a hard time getting Ty to the ground. That's been the weakness of this D (Chambliss, Pavia, Reed)

Have you not watched bama play this year? He’s been slinging the ball all over the field this year, so he doesn’t purposely run alot. He’ll make you pay when he has to run though.

As much as its sucked to watch, the team is in more stable place than it was post Orgeron

Not sure how you can say that. The quality of play is about equal, but there were some young stars on Coach O’s last team that gave you a good nucleus to build on. We also had some big time recruits that were committed.

If it’s the 39 scholarship players in the bowl game that keeps getting talked about, how many do you expect LSU to have in whatever 3rd tier bowl game we go to this season? 1/2 the team is liable to be in the transfer portal by then.
Enough with the Moffitt talk. He’s not the only strength coach out there.

How about Ole Miss’ or Vandy’s strength coaches? They abused us every bit as much as A&M did.

Does this mean Bryce Underwood for sure won’t be coming now?
The color analyst for the LSU sports radio network is not going to say that Kelly is going to be fired. Just like Gordy Rush wasn’t going to on the post game show.

Maybe we should get. Chris Blair’s opinion too.
LSU told donors they’d have to donate more for LSU to compete for championships. LSU fans/donors stepped up and LSU brought in a top transfer portal class because they had one of the biggest NIL budgets in the country. It turns out that it was a complete waste of money.

There is no reason to believe anything will change next year if Kelly is retained. You may think you’re saving money by retaining Kelly, but you may end end up with 1/4 of the NIL money that you had for this year.

It’s certainly not ideal, but sometimes yiu just have to cut your losses.
It’s not a home game. UCF is typically mediocre, so they are too good for us to play in the PMAC, even if it’s exhibition.

Alabama owns the series. But at least in the last 35 years or so LSU plays at least as well there as they play in Baton Rouge (even though they've lost most of games in either stadium). If somewhat recent history is any indication, LSU's probably slightly more likely to win at Alabama than they are at home.

10 years ago the LSU does good in Tuscaloosa stat meant something. Now LSU has lost 5 of the last 6 in Tuscaloosa. 4 of those have been by two TDs or more.
