Should kids still learn the dewey decimal system too? How will they ever figure out how to find information they need?
There is 0% chance that gym meets stay in the PMAC while every other team gets to play in the brand new arena.

I would love to hear if any member of the LSU golf team has even stepped foot on the LSU golf course.

Your whole post is stupid.
It’s really the college sports writers (Forde, Thammel, etc…) that have just had the strange obsession with Wade since the FBI stuff happened and they won’t let it go.

Just like how the program was under McMahon. No interest whatsoever from anyone.
LSU basketball instantly went from an afterthought to 99% of the national college sports media posting about it.

None of the other coaching hires got this. This is exactly the shot in the arm that LSU basketball needed.
So 2 big rows of media seating, then 3 rows of handicapped seating and the student section start about midway up the lower bowl like the old days?

Bilas was one of the biggest blowhards for paying players and players right to transfer whenever they wanted to. Now that he got all that he has to find something to complain about.
- Be within 3 games of 1st place in the SEC almost every year.
- Occasionally wining the SEC championahip
- Expect to be in the NCAA tournament every year.
- Occasionally make a deep tournament run where we are legitimate national championship contenders

Not picking on McNeese at all but they have played an instrumental part. They gave Schroyer the keys to the athletic department. He went got Wade and gave him a second chance. Without McNeese and Schroyer this wouldn’t have even been possible. McNeese should be taken care of for being such a good instate partner

Moscona had a McNeese beat writer on his show yesterday and was talking about this. He was saying he thinks it’s great that Schroyer and Wade will be at LSU and how a lot of people there really like that they have become essentially a feeder school to LSU.

Basically said it’s great when your former coaches and admins get promotions to majors schools. It means they are doing something right and what better place than LSU that’s 2 hours down the road.

And when it leaves RDU it goes to Palm Beach. The reporter is getting his clicks though. Good for him.

I really don't understand the excitement for a dude that got beyond the Round of 32 one time in 12 years of coaching.

Was he supposed to go to the Sweet 16 in 2 years at Chattanooga?

Was he supposed to go to the Sweet 16 in 2 years at VCU?

At LSU, he either dealt with covid or the LSU administration suspending him during the tournament.

Was he supposed to go to the Sweet 16 at McNeese?

Was he supposed to go to the Sweet 16 in year one at NC State?

What happened to April 1, buyout going down, etc?

That was never an option. It was said by a few people and then repeated ad nauseam on here, because that’s what people do on here.
Sounds like Andy Staples is a bitch.

UNC seems to only hire their own, which is a mistake for how great of a program it is.

And 2 of their last 3 coaching hires failed.

Alabama used to do this with football and eventually they learned that there are actual good coaches who weren’t tied to Bear Bryant somehow.
LSU and the school who will be looking for a coach because UNC took theirs sure will though.

LSU's Baton Rouge campus pre-dates Huey P Long as governor.

The area north of campus was all black when LSU’s current campus was built. The old McKinley High School building is as old as the oldest buildings on campus.

Wait like four or five days to save 2 million and if it doesn’t work out, go hire someone else. It’s not that hard.

Most places hire coaches before April 1st. Meaning, the good ones are typically gone by then. That is the point.

No one is picking LSU over UNC in basketball and UNC doesn't want Will Wade. This will not affect us at all.

Nowhere in my post did I say anything like that. Plenty people would pick Florida or Bama over LSU.
LSU is taking a massive risk by putting all of their eggs in one basket and waiting til April 1 to save $2 million to potentially hire Will Wade. What if he decides to stay put? What is he decides to go to another big opening?

UNC will likely hire Golden, Oats or some other good coach at a good program. Those programs will instantly be more attractive to any of LSU’s coaching candidates. Then what?

LSU had the perfect opportunity to hire Wade last week, but didn’t. The longer this drags out, the more it feels like LSU will screw up this hire.

For those tired of hearing about Will Wade, he is the only real potential coaching hire that would draw much needed immediate interest to the program. We aren’t getting Coach K, Billy Donovan, Brad Stevens or Phil Jackson.

Why not just put an exclamation point after your sentence instead of creating another one word sentence that says “PERIOD!!!!!”?

Want Iowa coach

He and Will Wade were the hot names last year. Our great administration decided to keep Matt McMahon so we could finish last.
