I don’t want to pile on so I’ll just say that New Pearson or Reeves would be the first to get a crack at 3rd. Keep Old Pearson and Frey in a rotation at DH.

With that said, I have a better chance of turning Chinese than of Milam getting benched. He will work through this and get hot sooner rather than later. We need him and he is a magician in the field.

Noot is shovin. Would like to see Fontenot get an inning and see if he can build on this past weekend.

Did the catcher think that was a force at home?

I feel like we would be losing our minds with some of these ball calls. Some of them are very close

Yea I shouldn’t have responded either but I blame JML for not making a “Do not engage with the village idiot” post.

Someone must pay for the sins committed by Northwestern State University…seems like a bad night to be a SELU fan!
The Homerun guarantee that you threw in there was gold. What a putz. Good work!
Jones just confirmed Tenn knew the pitches but wasn’t sure how they knew. Said they only had them when they were on 2nd

Will be interesting to see if he says anything about Evans tipping his pitches.

ETA: epic failure if they don’t ask him about nearly having to beat the crap out of Ariel

No way!

It’ll take more than a few bad games from Frey to return to a platoon at DH again.

They are currently platooning the DH spot. Pearson started 2 of the 3 weekend games.
They been holding the rope in the douche department since Drew Gilbert…

It’s a culture thing

I don’t know but I do remember seeing Hernandez using the traditional signs and thinking that was odd since we have the pitch com.

It stood out bc there looked like there were some type of misunderstanding with the signs a couple times, just not sure when the sequence was. Would have to go back and watch the first few innings.
No. I’m simply saying that an injured guy on 1 leg is still better than the current starters at DH so it’s probably time for a change at DH.

Especially considering one of the DH guys has never been a great hitter in 3.5 years.
Yea good point. I would also like to see more of Beck. Especially with Larson less than 100%.

CJJ said he was seeing the BP from Beck recently and I’m guessing that is what has gotten him some more opportunities.

Larson isn't healthy.

I’m aware. Yet out of Larson, Pearson, and Frey he is the only one that showed up in the hit column yesterday.

Platooning is obviously the answer but Frey and Pearson are only hitting above Milam when it comes to SEC averages.

I know he hasn’t been the same as last year but as far as pure hitters go, Larson is simply better than those two and he is starting to turn it on.

The only other logical RH bat we have to platoon with him is Tummy Tanks.

This still leaves R/L matchups off the bench for CJJ.

I know he is a fan favorite but Old Pearson is at his best when coming off the bench in a key matchup spot.

This lineup is a couple dudes getting hot, and shoring up the DH spot, away from putting it all together and hitting another gear.

Our best baseball is ahead of us and college baseball is on notice!
