Didn’t Blake Sims put up big numbers?

This is actually true, but it's still irrelevant.

Saban's job is to win CFB games, not develop NFL QBs.

When was the last time an Alabama qb did anything in the NFL? Kenny Stabler?

And Blake Sims was a good college QB.

I think you fail to see the difference between a good college QB and a good pro QB.

Richard Todd was pretty decent.

So yeah, I would say Alabama just attracts mediocre QBs since that's all they need.

Question, even though you seem a touch on the retarded scale, how many elite QB's in the NFL have come through Florida despite their NCAA statistical prowess vs. Alabama all-time?

When you research the names, and post an honest reply, you can then sit back and shut the absolute frick up about football.

What? They were fricking awful quarterbacks. What an awful comparison.

Well, yeah, I mean McCarron was a good/great college QB. Jefferson and Lee were not. However, I wouldn't call them awful. Awful college QBs are guys like Brandon Avalos and Spencer Pennington.

I'm not gonna say Tua won't be a good NFL QB.

But his biggest flaw is anticipating a throw way too much. He throws it before he recognizes which coverage is being played.

You can get away with that in college, especially with the WR talent that Bama has, and the OL.

In the NFL, he'll have trouble if he doesn't recognize coverages better pre-snap.

Holy shite you are dumb.
If only you knew how stupid Bama fans are. You think after years of all the jokes and polls about dumbest fanbases it would sink in but not with yall. One of you pops up and pats the other on the back and suddenly you think it's just everyone else again.

I don't understand why elite QBs with NFL aspirations play at Alabama.

You pose this question and then answer it with the very next sentence.
quote:

You have the best offensive linemen and the best WRs in the country.

That's the answer. These elite kids know each other and develop friendships. They want to go play with the best guys to have a chance at winning championships.

If you're an elite player on a team that wins championships, you will definitely have a shot to make an NFL roster if you want. Regardless of the amount of adversity you faced in college.

Roy is absolutely in that conversation, as are a lot of those kids on the 2008/2009 teams.
