Playing at Alabama does not help players like Tua get ready for the NFL

I don't understand why elite QBs with NFL aspirations play at Alabama. You have the best offensive linemen and the best WRs in the country. You don't have to face much adversity. Tua would have been much better served at a school where he was forced to win games because his defense sucked. This is why I think he won't excel at the next level. He'll get drafted early and lose his confidence because he's on a bad team. Plus Saban has never produced a long term NFL starter at QB.

Tua won't be a good NFL QB.

So yeah, I would say Alabama just attracts mediocre QBs since that's all they need.

The man that takes the bait of a one post alter is more pathetic than the one post alter.

For the love of god let the off-season end. Admin alters are the worst.

Matt Mauck started a game for the Titans in 2005.

This will bring in all of the Bama fricktards.

Alabama apparently has overrated players at every position except offensive line. The rest of the SEC is convinced we have 5 All-Americans up front every single year. It is the only reason we ever have decent QBs or RBs.

It's incredible, really. I'm glad a new poster such as yourself was kind enough to point it out to us.

He'll be better than Tebow. That's not saying very much, though.

AJ McCarron started 3 games in 2015
If we count Russell he started 25 games in his career
Matt Flynn started 7
Matt Mauck started 1
McElroy started 1
Tony Banks started 78

That’s one of hell of a hot take, OP. Why don’t you try to contact Tua and tell him what you told us. I’m sure he’d appreciate it.

John Parker Wilson
Greg McElroy
AJ McCarron
Blake Sims
Jacob Coker
Jalen Hurts
Tua Tagovailoa

Those are the primary starting QBs Saban has gone with since arriving at Alabama in 2007. How many of those were considered elite by NFL scouts?

It's a miracle how Saban keeps winning with all of these sucky players. Wait until Dabo shows up and starts recruiting.
