Oh please
How many of those weren’t Bama fans?
I mean we have fans that think Bentley is better than Tua

If Tua has limited success in the NFL it will likely be due to durability issues. He has some improvements to make, but so do all QB rookies.

Here is just one. Your fanbase kills each other over games. That alone puts you at the top.

I don't understand why elite QBs with NFL aspirations play at Alabama. You have the best offensive linemen and the best WRs in the country.
Im waiting for the Jerry Juedy thread.

Your "data" is a column but a Tennessee fan.

That was an opinion, I said facts.

AJ McCarron was the epitome of a mediocre QB surrounded by insane talent. It was a complete joke he was drafted as high as he was, and an even bigger joke he was considered for the Heisman. One of the most overrated players in CFB history, IMO.
The year he was in New York for the Heisman he threw 30 touchdowns and 3 interceptions. Marquis Maze and Darius Hanks were two of his primary receivers during his time at Alabama. Mccarron was insanely efficient and is still employed to play football.
What a steaming pile of word vomit you just expelled

Can you imagine really believing that elite QBs should go to lesser college programs to better prepare themselves for the NFL?

Players from Alabama have the reputation of being Pro ready when they arrive by most standards. This increases their draft status, signing bonus and contract negotiations. They are paid very well up front JUST on the pretense that they played at Alabama, even if they don’t pan out.
If they went to another school that doesn’t have the reputation of an Alabama they probably slip through the cracks and are drafted in a lower round resulting in less pay out of the gate and with injuries being a huge part of longevity, I’d like mine up front.
SO, playing at Alabama certainly has its perks.

If only you knew how stupid Bama fans are. You think after years of all the jokes and polls about dumbest fanbases it would sink in but not with yall. One of you pops up and pats the other on the back and suddenly you think it's just everyone else again.
That's fine. But you're dumber than all of them.

Tua's skillset is extremely similar to Russell Wilson. I think he's going to be very good.

I'm not sure he's quite the runner (both ability to break the edge and ability to take hits) that Wilson is, but he has a very similar outside the pocket field vision skillset.

He's not, and he doesn't have as strong of an arm (Wilson has a cannon).
Tua moves extremely well inside the pocket and can make plays outside of it when he has to. He has really good pocket awareness and is extremely accurate.
I don't think he will be as good as Wilson, but that's not a slight. That's the most similar comparison that I can make to a current starter. I think he will be a starter for a long time though.

I dont remember this at all. I thought McCarron would have a good NFL career and hell the guy is one of the 100 best QBs in the country now. He played very well when he subbed for Dalton and if not for that boneheaded play by whatshisface for the Bengals he would have won the first Bengals playoff game in forever

I think this year is pretty huge for him in terms of his draft stock. If he gets banged up and doesn't show improvement on reads/conventional QB play I think he'll take a pretty big hit. He's a QB, so he won't drop too far, but I could see that stuff lead to questions about other ridiculous things (as the draft does) and he drops to mid/late 1st round.
Personally, the things I want to see this year are a combination of system tweaks (which I expect with Sark) and Tua's reads and decisions. The problem is it won't REALLY show up until possible A&M and if not then not until LSU.
He's currently in that 2nd phase of a QB who hits the scene and takes it by storm : 1st phase is overhype (greatest ever! never seen anything like it before! best QB in a decade! #1 pick!) and 2nd phase is "well actually" (he's not THAT good, it's all the guys around him, his hands are small, he's not a NFL QB). As usual, the truth is somewhere in between.

Being a vagina doesn't get you ready for the NFL

Good QB if you can keep the defense off him is what I took from his NFL time.
His fumbles were sad.

He had a couple of turnovers and only a couple hundred yards passing for them. He wasn't bad, but "very well" is a stretch.
