Auburn will end up in the 6-7 range. Ole Miss and LSU too high, Florida too low.

Florida should never be as low as 12 on this list. Sad

I think UF ends up 3-4 in east.

No link on why but Billy won’t let this happen. Also think the UF AD and fanbase will be patient.

LSU has a good starting 22 but a lack of quality, proven depth.

If they stay relatively healthy, they can be a legitimate playoff contender. Some key injuries and they may go 8-4.

It really only took Brian Kelly one season to break Cuck Sabah and A1abana

Beware of the second season regression.

Seeing Vanderbilt last immediately signals to me that whoever created these rankings are doing it based on reputation and not actually how the teams will actually perform in the fall.

Wasn't too long ago when we were next to Vandy on lists like these. I <3 Sam Pittman.

2nd season is usually when you see the greatest “progression” by new head coaches that are actually really good at their profession.

It's obviously why you posted it, but I think we all know how silly it is to have LSU ranked ahead of Bama here.

Why is it silly? LSU returns a great oline and an experienced qb. The front 7 is much improved. They recruited the transfer portal hard for corner and safety. There are some depth concerns but LSU has a better team than last year. A top 2 ranking isn’t absurd.

Why is it silly? LSU beat Alabama last year. LSU has a returning highly experienced & productive QB returning and Alabama does not. LSU is returning 9 of 11 starters on offense.

LSU has the most impactful, and talented, defensive player returning in Perkins. LSU gets their best defensive lineman back from injury, who only played one series last year in Maason Smith. LSU’s secondary will be more talented than last years.

Yes, Alabama has a roster full of 4 & 5 stars. Yes, Alabama is damn strong and good every year. We get it. But…. It’s not silly to have LSU over Alabama in preseason with everything LSU has coming back.

LSU should be better overall than last year. Depth is a real issue and the secondary is unknown.

Harris, Chestnutt, and Welch are 3 nice corners to have.

LSU has legitimate playoff caliber depth at every position except safety.

You're an idiot.

The only one that will for sure end up where this list has them is vandy. Auburn will not be nearly as bad as people think and I will go on and say they are gonna upset a couple teams. No way they lose to all those teams. A&M, state, ole miss and arkie I mean specifically and I think they get a couple biggies on that list.

Usually true if they start slow. See Saban and Kirby.

When they start out over achieving, not so much.

See Gus Bus.

For the record, I'm still a Kelly believer. Just think you may not get what you are thinking you will this year.

I mean the teams gonna be better talent wise for sure. The roster is better than last years roster. It’s not like we won a bunch of close games really. The only close game we won was against bama . So we didn’t really get lucky to win ten games.

The game that really got us was the Florida state game . If we make an extra point then we go to ot . The Georgia game went as bad as it could have went. We got in the redzone 3 times at least without scoring.

That Georgia game was probably the best offensive game lsu has played since burrow but we just fricked up in the redzone . That game could have been way closer. The defense was terrible in the first half
