Put another way, how does in not disadvantage women?

There’s a fundamental reason why women don’t compete in sports against men. Men are bigger, faster, stronger than women.

Just because a man wants to pretend to be a woman, and surgically alters his body, doesn’t make him a woman. Once born a man, He will always be a man.

I will never understand why anyone could possibly think, men pretending to be women, participating in women’s sports is a good thing.

However, lets look at the past 20 years (since you picked an arbitrary date I will too) its probably Oregon State followed by a mix of USC, LSU, Texas, Vandy

Looking at last 20 years (I’’m going to go back to 2004, since there was no season in 2020, therefore it provides a full 20 seasons).

These programs all have 2 National Championships:
LSU, Oregon St, So Carolina, Vandy

LSU has 7 CWS appearances
Oregon St has 6 CWS appearances
Vandy has 5 CWS appearances
So Carolina has 4 CWS appearances

Florida has 1 National Championship and 10 CWS appearances

Texas has 1 National Championship and 8 CWS appearances.

They’ve lost their best pitcher and best hitter and are still winning. That’s quite remarkable. Will be difficult for them to win it all without them.

LSU poster says this

You are year one in the SEC. You just arrived to this conference, and this site. You have no clue how many fan bases have been saying this since Tony V arrived in Knoxville. No freaking clue.
Football is The King, and always will be.

Baseball is second to football, and no other sport comes remotely close.

I have had this argument many times here, I still think Texas is the better overall program given historical win %, Omaha, conference titles, and natties (LSU has 1 more of course) but if all goes well this year we will tie it up.

Texas has the longest, deepest most long-term historically best program.

But…. Over the last 35 years, LSU is hands down, and you aren’t even close to us in this time span, the best baseball program in the nation.

Absolute masterclass this weekend. Saving Evans and Cowan for Sunday was a POWER move

It just worked out that way.

Don’t think for a second had LSU had a 1 or 2 run lead on Saturday that Jay would not have pitched Cowan or Evans. That most definitely would have happened.

The cards just worked out with Tennessee getting an extra run Friday so he pulled Cowan in favor of Mayer. And we got blown out Saturday.

Idk, even when it’s Texas turn to struggle (injuries, low production, etc), we still squeak it out. Not sure if that’s Schloss or what

Oh, it’s Schloss. What he’s doing this year is utterly amazing. Just look at how much your team has improved from last year under Pierce to this year.

Schloss is the runaway coach of the year even if Texas goes 0-2 in regional play this year (they won’t though).
Several of us have been on the Braswell train all year long. Most on this board have not. I’ll get downvoted big time for saying this, but it’s true. Most on here have been trying to replace him for most of the season.

This time last year, Cade Anderson was basically in Schmidt’s same position.

Schmidt is a long way from being a disappointment. Is he where we all hoped? No, but far from being labeled a disappointment.

Can LSU only prevent home runs in big ball parks

Why in the world would a Missouri fan reply in a LSU - Tennessee baseball thread???

How out of place and stupid can you get?!?!?! lol
How good are the Hillbillies now ?

Damn good.

Tigers are better.

Dickinson and Brown crushed us there

A lot of you are giving Jay a pass. Calling for bunts with Brown was outright stupid. He caused a poor AB for Brown. Now….. Dickinson’s was total trash on his own.

Evans was a starter last year.

Not for a college team. That’s the point. Cowan was Wofford’s Ace going 6-7 innings regularly.

Btw, he called us last night, and turned around and called with AU game this afternoon.

You do realize that we got swept at Auburn with Lyn calling all 3 games, right?

Outside of one fluke inning, LSU has gotten it’s shite pushed in for 2 straight games.

Call me crazy but I think he will be a very good reliable back for 8 to 10 years.

Yeah, you’re crazy. Average career for a RB in the NFL is 2.6 years. For an undrafted rookie, it’s extremely difficult to make a club even for 1 or 2 years.

Hope he beats the odds, but the odds are very unfavorable.
