Not picking sides cause both beat us but Bama beat us, took our lunch money, then took our gfs to mc'ds after she put out and got her dollar menu.

I agree with you. The idea that Bama should have won or would win if they payed auburn again may or may not be true, but ultimately doesn't matter. They played for a trip to the SECCG, and they lost. They blew it, with a lot of help from an auburn team with a ton of heart.

Maybe they'd have a chance with a playoff to beat auburn in a rematch, but that isn't the system this year. As a Bama fan, that's a shame, but them's the breaks.

they should invest in a better kicker

No doubt. It's embarrassing that Alabama has enough athletes in their 2 deep to stock 2 teams and yet, doesn't have a kicker who can be depended on in the big games when the pressure is on.

But I still place more blame on Saban than anyone else. Not going for a FG with 6:00 minutes left that would have given Bama a 10 point lead is inexcusable considering it would have been a 30 yrd attempt. I mean, if Saban thought Adam Griffith had a chance of nailing it from 57 yards, why didn't he think he might just have a shot from 30?

Not sure how a measure of the season is more important than head to head.

Just curious about how far we can stretch this.. Is Utah a better team than Stanford? Arizona is a better team than Oregon?

I don't disagree. You put Alabama and Auburn on a neutral field in a rematch and it is LSU/Alabama 2011 all over again.

Florida State has looked like the best team in the country from their opening game in Pitt on that Monday night. They're being severely underrated by the Rant, unsurprisingly. Bama wasn't as strong this year as they had been and it will be similar next year.

Stoops is probably pumping his players full of this shite. Win-win for him. "If we lose, we lost to the best team in the country. If we win, we beat the best team in the country."

A lot of butthurt barners in here. Y'all won the right games and got where you needed to, but in my opinion Alabama is a far superior team.

We could win another 9 times in a row and they will say we got lucky. It's whatever at this point

Exactly.

If Alabama was the better team, then Gus Malzahn out coached him in nearly every way possible.

Has everyone freaking forgot bama gave up 296 rushing yards! And got outrushed by 76 yards. To say they were certainly better is delusional.

....and that the game was tied after 59:59 of game play.

.....and the bestest team in the world could not get half a yard on fourth down.

......and Auburn's staff out-coached bama's staff.

None of that matters. The bestest team in the land lost a game...so we have to come up with excuses as to how and why that happened.

Dynasty my arse!!!!

You Aubs do realize that no Bama fans on this thread are arguing here that Bama is a better team don't you? Place you're rage on OU and take your crucifixation complex elsewhere. You are arguing against little bammer voices that are in your head but not really here. Jeeze.
