There definitely is an argument for Alabama being the better team but to believe that Auburn doesn't have an equally great argument is absurd. Despite losing the turnover battle (in their own territory as well) they won game. Call the return a fluke but Auburn's red zone defense in the second half and Alabama's lack of kicking game owuld have probably help Auburn won in OT as well
Additionally, Auburn had a number of blown opportunities such as the Ricardo Louis wide open TD catch early on
I don't know how you can watch that game and conclude that clearly Alabama is the better team despite giving up 5+ YPC, getting beat in the passing game when Auburn did throw the ball and CONSISTENTLY failing to convert in the RedZone/Auburn territory (as in couldn't get a TD let alone a FG)

Why would Auburn fans be mad? We're in the BCS championship game after the worst season I've experience in my lifetime. I've been on cloud nine for two months now just knowing that we're going to a bowl game.
I actually tend to agree that Auburn is not the best team in the country, but the problem is that they don't hand out trophies for being the best. The hand out trophies for winning your games. Alabama failed to do that against Auburn. The better team between two loses all the time. That's why we watch this sport.

Scoreboard. On the field. Why be mad? We are playing for the NC, our second in 4 years. What other school outside of Alabama can make that claim?
For safety reasons, will Alabama petition the NCAA to eliminate the need to actually kick FGS and instead just award the points? (LSU 2011 should understand the mulligan Bama got). Will the rule be changed to not allow FGS to be returned ?

I think more people believe FSU is the best team in the country than believe Alabama is and those people are more likely correct.
