Somebody needs to explain to that dude what a team is. Did Alabama have the best players? Maybe. They damn sure did not have the best team when they played Auburn. From coaching all the way down to special teams Auburn proved they were the better team.

I think he's talking about the rumors that he was leaving.

Moral victory shite.

I'm starting to wonder if the Bama fans realize they won't win the natty this year and there won't be any way to retroactively claim it.

shite is going to get real when it sets for some of these fans.

It's gonna take a while for them to hit the acceptance stage of grief.

The OU runningback can tell himself whatever he wants to make that blowout loss he's going to receive feel better.

Doesn't make it true.

Exactly, it's all talk. It seems to have ruffled some feathers, though.

And there is no guarantee that we'll blow them out either.

Bama wouldn't beat any top 5 sec team 9 out of 10 times, let alone 19 out of 20. Saban is awful in close games. If he can't physically bully a team and control everything that will happen in the fourth quarter, he loses more often than not. Just watch the next few years.

We won 2 out of 3 of our close games last year...

We won 2 out of 3 of our close games this year.

Awful is a bit of an overstatement, no?

If you take away our FG woes....ifs and buts, though.

Totally agree. As much as I hate Alabama, they would beat Auburn 7-8 out of 10 times. Auburn is 4.5 minutes away from being a 4 loss team.

Neat. So why are you playing in the sugar bowl? You lost. Time to get over it.

Who are you even addressing here? The OP simply dropped off a quote from an OU player that we all knew would make AU fans go crazy. That was why he did it, and it worked to perfection. Just look at the AU responses here. Nowhere did the OP or any other Bama fan here say they agreed with the OU RB. It is amazing to me that some of you can't keep this stuff straight in your heads. If the roles were reversed I just can't imagine Bama fans giving two shits what AU's bowl opponent thought about Bama. Just incredible how you people melt over all perceived slights. Letting an OU RB troll you on Christmas as the team prepares for Pasadena: classic.

Alabama: the only team that can lose a November game 3 years in a row and the country just pretends that it never happens.
