Why is this question asked every year?
The OU fans I know are proud to be in the SEC. Reasons why joining the SEC is better:
1. Competition - OU just won the national
Championship in Baseball. That wouldn’t have happened in the Big 12.
2. Matchups - OU vs Bama/UGA/LSU/Florida/Ole Miss/Aub/Tenn/ etc are more enjoyable to watch compared to Iowa State, Kansas, etc.
3. The SEC brings more money to the university, more exposure, more TV coverage, more national respect, better game day environments, better ratings.
4. Most importantly, OU games are always on SEC Network / SECN+ when not aired on your typical channels.
The SEC Network alone is key factor.

Well, the argument against is that you win the big 12 like every other year and there was only really one other program that could consistently challenge you.

The old Big 12 in the early 2000s was competitive.
Nebraska with Eric Crouch, early 2000s Colorado, late 90s A&M, a Bill Snyder Kansas State team, a Bob Stoops Oklahoma, and the Colt McCoy/Vince Young Texas teams.
The SEC juggernaut was created from Urban Meyer and Chris Leak and grew from there.
The Big 12 championships were awesome to see, but as my dad says, nothing lasts forever.
Times are changing and I enjoy watching the SEC.

And then we would get punked in the playoff because we weren't able to recruit well enough to compete with the top SEC programs because the Big 12 was viewed as the minor leagues by recruits.
That alone is enough to warrant jumping to the SEC. Add in money, better and bigger matchups, exposure, etc. and it's a no-brainer.
Winning in the Big 12 honestly got boring for a lot of fans--there stopped being any joy in the wins, just a "oh god we better not lose" attitude when playing against some program that had nowhere near the resources we did.
And while the SEC is definitely harder than than the Big 12,OU made the playoffs last year with a pathetic offense, so it's not like this conference is impossible to succeed in. Our offensive issues aren't due to the SEC, they're due to our own incompetence. I have yet to see an OU fan that doesn't realize this, we know we can do well here. Just have to fix our issues.
Edit: to add one more thought, the only thing I "regret" (if that's the word for it) is that the original Big 12 fell apart. That was an awesome and competitive conference. But no regrets leaving the zombie Big 12.

I bet they regret recent coaching moves more than conference moves.
