re: Predictions on the next SEC school to win the football national title?

Every year the whorns are the odds on favorite they stumble.
Sarkisian needs to remember what Saban said about rat poison and take a page from the Oklahoma playbook which is better to go into the big games as the underdog.
As an OU homer my opinion on the OP's question is biased towards Oklahoma but I would not be so confident this season had I not witnessed how they handled last year after losing the QB1 early on.

Sooner fans can commiserate with you.
We were not pleased to have Memorial Stadium saddled with the moniker Gaylord Family Memorial Stadium.
At least we still can refer to where they play as Owen Field.

And coincidentally by the same score as

re: Which Fanbase Will Be Most Disappointed This Football Season?

I expected to feel disappointment last season, predicted 6-6 on boards more than once. Instead I was pleasantly surprised after OU went 10-3. The Sooner defense surprised the hell out of me especially after Mateer was injured.
The 2026 schedule is just as daunting as 2025 looked in the preseason so maybe this year I will be disappointed but am not counting the Sooners out of any game this time around.

1 in the 3rd, 3 in the 4th, 1 in the 6th, 1 in the 7th, 3 in the 8th, 2 in the 9th, 15 hits, 5 homeruns and enough clutch pitching to hold the other guys to 4 runs.
Helluva game, people.
Go Sooners!

It's a down whorns night.
UGA 2 - UTA 0
UGA 2 - UTA 0
It's a tough call but I want to see the whorns eliminated.
How 'bout them Dawgs!

OU 4 - UG 3 woo hoo! And next UGA vs UTA in an elimination game.
I still wonder how Oklahoma would have finished out those final 3 games of what up till then was an undefeated season had FULR NOT gone on a West Coast "recruiting" trip during the bye week and instead had focused on actually trying to win those games (Sooners went 1-2).
He was not coaching the Sooners after that trip, mentally he was already the USC coach and his slinking out following an inexplicable loss to State was just the final insult.
Anyway, after several missteps everyone is pointing to his 2026 team as the one that will earn him one of the 12 playoff spots.

bama and whorns playing an elimination game, so exciting!
So much for that bottom of the ninth 10-run rally . . .

13-2 and it's all over for K - U.
Sooners going to Omaha.
Sooners going to Omaha.
One would hope a 7-run lead would be enough.
Some more good news, the ladies of Oregon were eliminated by St. Marys after losing to Mississippi State earlier in the day.
Here's to seeing OU handle UM like Rousey took down Carano!
It's not inconsistent at all.
Israel got him into the war, one he now wants out of bad but after all he's done to them Iran isn't about to let him take his ball and go home.

Ya know, I don't just look at someone I know little about and instantaneously form a negative opinion.
In the case of my "opinion" of Trump as you put it, it is based entirely on his actions.
This war is just the pinnacle but hardly the only thing he's done upon which I judge him negatively.
In case you are too myopic to see it, he is being led by the nose by Iran in terms of ending this war, something he is desperate to do but has no idea how to achieve.

I don't know about Sark though, I'd probably lean Kiffin but couldn't justify it quantifiably.
I have to disagree and believe me it pains to say it, Sark has exceeded my expectations at Texas.
He turned around what was the largest collection of entitled cry-babies in college football and turned them into contenders.
I don't give him credit for recruiting one because Texas pretty much gets talent on name alone and two he screwed up at least one season with inadequate personnel in the O-line and no good alternative QB2.
