Bama is losing this game on Saturday- and it won’t be close.

During the Kentucky game, they were averaging 9.5 yards per run at one point. Basically a first down every handoff. They ran for over 400 yards, and passing plays were hurting their average yards per play.

State's offense keeps our defense off the field by throwing pick-6's

I do think there's a little fool's gold with State's defense but they're definitely better than expected. Arkansas and Kentucky were both playing ball control at a certain point so I'm not sure those two games are just a great indicator of how good this defense is. LSU had some success against them, though to be fair State's D also made some key plays in that game. The next two games are against A&M and Bama so if State still has a Top 15 defense after these two games then you know they are probably for real.

I think their DL and LB's are pretty legit. Still have some major questions about the secondary though, the talent and experience level is lower back there and LSU and Arkansas both picked on them at times. Not saying they are total chumps but I'm not expecting them to be able to stop Waddle and Smith in a couple of weeks.

Yep

quote:

Georgia Stats
Offensive Yards Per Play: 5.27 (97% of opponents avg)
Offensive Yards Per Point: 13.63
Defensive Yards Per Play: 3.70 (65% of opponents avg)
Defensive Yards Per Point: 19.19

Alabama Stats
Offensive Yards Per Play: 8.66 (130% of opponents avg)
Offensive Yards Per Point: 10.99
Defensive Yards Per Play: 6.01 (83% of opponents avg)
Defensive Yards Per Point: 15.59

Score Prediction
Georgia - 29
Alabama - 26

Georgia: 395 yards on 79 plays (4.94 YPP)
Alabama: 399 yards on 65 plays (6.14 YPP)

The difference in the game - Georgia runs more plays than Alabama because of Alabama's inability to get off the field on 3rd down, basically.

I just feel like our offense is going to do what those advanced stats do not efficiently predict.

Gift wrap points for Bama.

Scoop and score. Bad snap. Poor QB choice into coverage returned.

It has been us all season. I don't see it changing on the road against the most talented team in the country
