Vanderbilt has skewed the South Carolina ranking. We're nowhere near #18.

Yeah, but we played two high powered offenses in TN and Fla.

WTF?

How can Air Raid have a top D?

We keep the ball a long time before we throw the interception so the defense isn't on the field long. But, the defense has been a surprise.

ETA - TOP last night MSU 35 - UK 25

LSU 71. 4 stars everywhere. Played the bottom of the league so far. Good job Coach.

There aren't triple digit teams this year, so that's the only reason.

Didn’t even consider that. Well now this makes perfect sense.

We are lower but faced better teams. LSU literally played the three easiest games on their schedule first.

Interesting stat. UGA is dead last in the SEC in total number of tackles.
#1 in the SEC and #2 nationally in time of possession.

Bama is weakest where they were supposed to be strong. The 2 inside linebackers have not played well at all. Dylan Moses is supposed to be one of the elite linebackers in the country and he has sucked. Christian Harris has been poor.

The stud 6 man rotation up front has been mediocre.

Bama got run on last night. They were soft as shite. Golding isn't just the DC he is coaching the inside backers. These are the same 4 AND 5 star kids they have always had. No major injuries to their top 15 players. There is no excuse.

How? How in the hell is Florida's defense worse than ours? I don't believe those numbers.

Back in the day this was the recipe for a championship. Now, this scares me vs those are explosive offenses if we can’t keep the ball away from them the entire game because we aren’t built to explode offensively.

Coordinator turnover.

Bama fought it better than most but eventually succumbed.

The top two teams in Clemson and Georgia are there precisely because they haven't had the same level of turnover.

Yet.

There is an excuse. It’s the same thing we’ve known for 2 years. Pete Golding is a terrible DC that should have stayed in the Sun Belt/C-USA.
