We have another Roper. I'm sure Satt knows offensive philosophy in the meeting room. That doesn't always translate to play calling/development.
There were plenty of instances when roper was calling offense that we could look back and say "this guy was open, if we only threw to that guy".... thats offense. you're going to have routes that beat certain coverages and ones that don't on each play. Saying someone was open doesn't mean shite.

The obvious move, one that people were talking about when he was drafted, and it took a lackluster QB career, failed Baseball career and time in the media for it to happen. Honestly feels more like a move to stay relevant rather than him wanting to actually play TE.

As a Ravens fan I was perplexed by this as well. Most of the commentary about him post draft was that he was much more well regarded as a Nickel than a true outside CB. With Humphrey and Peters on the outside, Nickel is all he'll see for a while anyway.

Poster on our 247 page made a valid point. Westmoreland is an OLB atm, but absolutely has the frame that would likely move him to a ILB at the next level. UGA has so many of these types of guys on campus already that it just didn't make sense to take very many more. I think the present projection for their class 20 or so. They may take one possibly 2 of this type of player

We sniffed alright. Just didn't pull the trigger. Fun fact, there are at least 3 players from the city of Columbia that are presently starters for other teams in the sec east. All expressed interest in wanting to come to carolina and muschamp said "winning? Never heard of her."
