Crazy how bad reading comprehension is, or else how stubbornly someone wants to troll and talk shite instead of have a rational discussion.
Texas is CLEARLY #3 on this list, behind Alabama and Oklahoma.
And in reviewing everything, you gotta give Alabama the slight edge over the Sooners, just due to recognized national titles.

Agree with much of what you say, but think you are being a little hard on UF. They made the SECC game in ‘16, ‘17 and ‘20, having to face Alabama each time. AU hasn’t been since winning in ‘13.
Even though UF leads AU in NCs 3-2, I think they are equal or close in SEC titles, I would still put AU one slot above UF because of being mostly good to very good since the mid ‘50s.
Though UF history was not as bad as many are charging (HC Ray Graves is in the CF HOF) they never won an SEC title til ‘84. Of course, AU only had 1 (‘57) until ‘83. But I would still nudge AU slightly ahead of UF for reasons stated above. (Though AU’s geography gives them some advantages (they’re at the corner of Georgia, Florida who are full of great talent and in Alabama who’s talent is not bad), they still have to share the state with Alabama. You have admire their spirit of pressing on. UF lives in the land of 5 stars - but they have to overcome the sun and beach.)

OU has a great history and program but frankly, it’s not close between Alabama and OU. And no one is very close at the moment to OU for #2, though UTx, LSU and/or UGA could make a run and close the gap.

As much as I loathe Ole Miss (and not that fond of Arkansas), they have more of a pedigree than aTm.
Ole Miss was once a powerhouse of a program and reached heights that aTm hasn't seen. Arkansas was far the better program when both were in the SWC and has more skins on the wall. Arkansas has also reached the SECCG multiple times.
I don't think very much of Aggie and never have. It's always treated as if it was a great program but, in reality, they have accomplished very little in the past 70+ years. They've always had the "sleeping giant" treatment. Florida used to have that label but Spurrier changed all that. A&M? Still sleeping.

Well, OU does lead the series in head to head games. Alabama is ahead in most categories, but it's closer than you're suggesting.

Bama doesn't have 16 national titles, lol. Only AP/UPI titles for pre-BCS years count. But they still have many more than us due to Saban.
Prior to Saban, OU had a better program historically than Alabama. Saban changed that drastically, and Bama is probably going to have the better historical program for the rest of our lives because I don't see OU getting a Saban anytime soon.

Bear alone had Bama and OU neck and neck, but add Stallings, Wade, and Thomas, and Bama easily clears OU. Add Saban, and no one is catching them.

Uh, yeah, we had Bud Wilkinson, Barry Switzer, and the best years of Bob Stoops by 2007. Those easily compete with the coaches you listed, and I'm not even counting Bennie Owen since he coached 100 years ago.
Found this ESPN article from 2009, so only a couple of years into Saban's run. Has OU as #1. Bama isn't even top 5. Saban put them ahead of the pack in a massive way.
