Hell No. I think it’s petty AF to take shots at a school on your way out, regardless of what happened. They gave you a scholarship and an opportunity. If you somehow screwed that up or got buried on the depth chart, that’s on you. It’s deflecting accountability.

Players like this are a dime a dozen. Probably been coddled all his life in sports so he gets butthurt the first time a coach tells him the truth.
Low class and reflective of his upbringing that he would publicly trash a coach who gave him a scholarship and a chance to compete.

That’s a bad look on the player. Enter the Portal, move on. No need to take a shot at someone- if the situation was working to the players liking they wouldn’t be transferring

Wow, this is really bizarre because I listen to every Leach press conference and every coaches show he does AND podcast Leach is on. He has never said anything about Dillion other than he IS a tough running back. He has praised his work ethic etc.
Something must have went down in the past few days because it is a FACT that Leach has praised that guy all year AND last year. Very strange.

Rosebowl confirmed that Leach said it. Why he said it isn't known yet. Whole thing is bizarre. DJ was a starter and played hurt most the last two years, and still produced. Having said that, what he said on the way out the door was a pussy move. Word is, Oklahoma offered him earlier in the week and he's negotiating with them for NIL.

Yes and our freshman RB is also going to be much better, but I still don't get Dillon's comments after Leach has done nothing but praise his toughness (Which Dillon has earned) after every game when asked in press conference. Something just is not right here.
