Says it all. But still somehow managed to beat Auburn on The Plains (Thank God for Randall Cobb).

How old are you?
As a florida fan, im shocked that you dont remember 2008.
Our running game was struggling and Bobo released the mad bomber (stafford). All we did was go deep. It led to 54% completiom, 3 INTs, and 4 three and outs. Florida won 49-10 (joe cox put up the last TD to give us 10).

Put another way, Florida had TD drives of 25 yards, 30 yards, 1 yard, and 41 yards. All because we took deep shots all game.

We were 10x the team UGA was in 2008 and were pissed off from the year before. UGA loses by 40 points if they ran the triple option, threw every play, or had Peyton Manning at QB that day. 2008 UGA just wasn’t a very good team in general. Stafford wasn’t the reason you got blown out.

Stafford doesnt call the plays.
I blame bobo.

But yes... stafford threw 3 picks. Backfoot, from his own endzone, poor decision type throws.

He was a big reason why we got blown out.
And back to my original point, Stafford only had good games when the rushing attack was on point (2008 Mich State and 2006 Auburn being the only exceptions).

He didn't stay long enough to be considered overrated. He played as good as any freshman under a tough situation with Nutt. Since he graduated with USC, that is his school and so he has to be compared with QBs under USC.

The most overrated QB at Arkansas is Gary Brashears. He walked during practice towards a fence, he slid behind an opening and never came back. All that hype but never played a down and quit before the season started. I believe he transferred to Central Arkansas but didn't play.

Aaron Murray for me... frick the stats... he never won shite and lost pretty much every big game he played. Not only that... he is one of maybe one other QB in our school’s history to have a losing record to SC. You have a losing record against SC... you’re number one imo.

Mitch Mustain was the last QB to beat Alabama.

When Nutt got the quick trigger in the South Carolina game after one interception, he made sure Mustain never started a game ever again.

Then with Casey Dick, he had one of the worst games as a QB against LSU and lost the next two games.

It is Gary Brashears and no one comes close.

How can you be overrated if you never played a snap? You aren't able to judge his ability playing in the game so you don't actually know if he was good or not. Stuff happens all the times to kids and maybe something traumatic happen to Gary that caused him to quit football. You can't say a kid is overrated if he never played the game.

Mitch on the other hand had far more hype than Gary, Mitch was the f'ing Lord Jesus coming from the heavens to 'save' Arkansas football. How can you say he walked into a difficult situation.. he had one of the greatest running attacks in SEC history behind him and a O line to boot.. if anything, his job was probably the easiest of any QB to ever play at Arkansas.

The reality is the kid was setup to be amazing here. He had an amazing team around him and all he had to do was play his role, be a freshman and grow with the team. But he couldn't do that, didn't know how to do that. He pissed the team off the first day he arrived and paid for it ever since then.

The reality is he was the biggest bust in Arkansas history, most overrated player and Arkansas' biggest disappointment. Maybe you are Mitch, maybe you are a friend, but you can't hide from history.. proof is in the pudding. He fricked up bad.

Again go back and watch those games. Mitch played horrible in just about all of them. Mitch didn't beat Bama, Darren McFadden did. Mitch was getting worst each game he played and Nutt finally pulled the trigger after his interception against SC.

Nutt made the right call, the kid was damaged, it's on video for the world to see. Go back and watch the games and you will see.

Tebow as a pro prospect is kind of fair. But in college..maybe Jeff Drisk? Can't think of anyone that got high praise without merit. UF fans aren't nice enough for that.

Mustain to Cleveland for the win in OT. McFadden helped but himself wasn't enough to win that game. Mustain was serviceable not horrible.

Any QB is damaged goods under the Nutt. He never had a chance and NEVER should have came to Arkansas. Deciding against his best judgement. Ryan Mallet of all people was smart enough not to go here while Nutt was around.
