Tell me how your front 7 pushed UGA around all night. They did a good job of controlling the LOS.

Until they didn't. It's not what MiZZZou was doing to stop Georgia. It's what the Dawgs did as an adjustment that the faux Tigers couldn't stop.

I’d literally take our defense over any defense in the country.
I, however, would take almost any offense over our offense in the country lol.
Our front 7 is extremely good. Highest havoc rate in the SEC by a long shot. Over 25% of our defensive snaps we create havoc.

I bet you feel real good about saying this. You came back and limped into a win against those lonely 4-4 tigers!

Our offense did nothing with the ball. 4th quarter yall finally started to move the ball. Sure fatigue played a huge role.

Our defense is legit. UGA snobs can eat shite. UGA non-snobs are cool though. There just don't seem to be that many here.

The Mizzou defensive turn around from last year is pretty amazing.
Posted on 11/3/22 at 10:44 am to Serraneaux
Mizzou got some early turnovers to take the lead.
From there, UGA moved the ball easily but kept having to kick FGs inside the 10.
Mizzou’s offense on the other hand would mostly struggle but would get one chunk play or penalty that allowed them to kick a 50 yard FG.
Total yards:
Georgia- 492
Mizzou- 284
Georgia outplayed them the whole game, Mizzou was just very opportunistic.

This is happening to most teams we play, we make teams settle for FG's. We'll give up yards, which is fine.

I have noticed a number of UGA posters giving respect for our defensive effort. I have also noticed the UGA poster above downplaying MU's defensive effort against UGA in a number of threads. It's almost as if he can't admit it to himself.
Rational fans/observers understand that from our first field goal up until 4 minutes left in the game MU was leading. If we had an even slightly better offense we would have won that game. It was due to our very good defense. I'm not sure why that is so hard for some to admit.

Weird. I see halftime stats like
Total yard - UGA 182, mizzou 194
rushing yards - UGA 33, mizzou 65
TOP - UGA 13:24, mizzou 16:36
Fumbles - UGA 2, mizzou 0
average yard per play - uga 5.2, mizzou 6.1

Our front 7 are beasts, but they got tired late in the game due to a combination of our offense being unable to stay on the field and give them a break plus our lack of depth compared to UGA. Georgia also had a few dropped balls and a couple turnovers in the first half that contributed to them stalling out on drives. They cleaned that up in the second half, especially the fourth quarter.

Yeah, are d is pretty good. Offenseive setbacks against Auburn and Florida and we are 6 -2, but, we are not, so.
I can't give any adive on how to push Georgia around. But by the eye test, Tennessee is a much better team.

I think it was more about UGA expecting a cupcake and the cupcake never arrived than it was about what Mizzou did.
UGA didn't have any problems when they hit the panic button in the 4th quarter.

We have country strong DL that you are NOT going to move. They do an elite job of setting the edge. Combine this with an NFL LB in Hooper who we got from Florida (thanks) with a legit top 3 SEC secondary and that’s the formula.
Combine this with a creative blitz package and our D will hit anyone in the mouth.

Don't know about pushing Georgia around.
Those two tight ends they have are a nightmare. You will have to plan for them.

Let us win next weekend and we’ll tell you

Georgia started the game with mostly zone running schemes (inside, cross, insert).
Midway through the third, we abandoned it completely and went back to power/counter schemes.
Once we switched, they were unable to stop us.
But we were not effective at all with the zone schemes (which help mask RPOs).
Credit to mizzou for their pass rush as well. They were speed rushing around our tackles consistently. Bama couldn't do that in the seccg.
A lot of the mizzou success was from the home field crowd noise.. we weren't able to audible and mizzou was jumping our snap count most of the game.
Players are saying that is the loudest away game we have seen in two years.
