Yeah, that avg coach is 29-10 the last 3 years....2 of the years his Top 2 Qb's were injured part or all of the season.

Mizzou is like our Iowa, they are a pain in the arse to play and always seem to hover around the top 25 but they're never a real threat to be the king of the mountain. Every now and then they might be a top 10 team. Drink is perfect for that role, I think both parties realize this.
His salary is whatever, it's the price of admission in keeping a good or even decent coach
If Indiana can win, Mizzou can win a National Title

This stat is pretty silly IMO.
Mizzou beat 5-5 LSU in Covid Year, #23 South Carolina 4-4 in 2022 and should have beat #1 Georgia, still can't believe we lost that game.
In 2023 only 5 SEC teams were over .500 in conference games and 1 of them was Mizzou. They only played 2, and if we're not for Jaylen Daniels we would have beaten LSU. Mizzou had wins over 4-4 #17 Tennessee, and wins over 3-5 Auburn, Florida, South Carolina and Kentucky.
2024 Mizzou was one of 8 teams that finished above .500 in conf, Mizzou played 3 and if Mizzou had beaten either one of them, those teams would have finished 4-4 instead of 5-3.
2025 If the Bama QB didn't play like Joe Montana on 4th down late in the game and Pribula could hit his wide open WR Marquis Johnson late in that game we could have won that game, but lose 27-24. We fall at a 1/2 yard short of tying or going for the win at Vandy after losing starting QB. Hell we played OU tough on the road with Pribula playing at like 60%.
It's not like you play a lot of teams with winning conference records every year.

You can't really say that.....this game might have been the reason OU went on their run to end the season.
OU got hot a little too late in the season.

Mizzou doesn't suck....they just needed 2 of their most talented players back. This is not a great Mizzou team, but they are not bad when healthy

Mizzou will be solid in SEC play as long as we can stay healthy.....having Pierce and Stone healthy is massive. You saw what Mizzou was without them both

Those #'s have been confirmed
Oregon/Iowa beat A&M/Mizzou in the 2:30 time slot because Disney is dumb as hell.
Hell Georgia/Miss St probably would have been more like 4 to 4.5 million with YouTubeTV and they had 2.3

Mizzou doesn’t need a new coach
Mizzou is currently a better job than Auburn

There is no world in which MIZZ is a better job than Auburn. In fact, outside of Vandy and maybe UK, every job in the SEC is better than MIZZ. Drink will take the first big job he is offered.

Yes, he should have let him catch and run in for the TD.....that was not targeting

kansass and SC are better than Arkansass

But I’m just not seeing how they can best Bama. They’ve played 5 games so far… all at home. Here are how those teams rank according to SP+:
#33 Kansas
#41 South Carolina
#115 Louisiana
#194 Central Arkansas
#209 Massachusetts
I honestly think this could be the easiest schedule any SEC team has ever faced through the first week of October. Even still, it hasn’t been pretty at times.
Against Kansas, Mizzou only led for just over 9 minutes of game time until they finally came back to take the lead late at the 4:14 mark late in the fourth quarter. Kansas led for over 32 minutes of game time.
Same story against South Carolina. The Gamecocks had led for over 23 minutes of game time until Mizzou finally took a late lead to win the game with just 9 minutes left in the fourth quarter.
If Mizzou needed fourth quarter comebacks to finally take a lead against the two Top 100 opponents they’ve faced, I just don’t see how some are saying they’ll beat Alabama.
I hope I’m wrong.
Good lord it's amazing how stupid people are.
Mizzou outgained kansass 600 to 250, Mizzou dominated that game. KU only kept it sort of close because of trash Big 12 officiating aiding ku on 2 of their scoring drives (one was a 3rd down sack called facemask).
Mizzou also outgained South Carolina by over 170 yards....SC got a lucky deep ball and actually one TD was just a great throw by Sellers in good coverage.
This Mizzou team is legit....they are deep on both offense and defense. They can run the damn ball and pass it on offense. Front 7 is very good, secondary is inconsistent but has talent. Mizzou has crushed it in the Portal....not only from small schools with a player like Hardy but from Power 5 team players from Georgia, Miami, Michigan State, West Virginia, Michigan and Oklahoma to get players on the OL and DL/LB positions.

Same Mizzou they have been for years. They never really beat anyone good, but the schedule is so soft the win totals are inflated. Kudos to Drinkwitz and the AD for manipulating Mizzou fans into thinking they are contenders. Drink does do a good job of not getting upset by the UMASS types.
This narrative that Mizzou doesn't beat anybody is lame.
26-5 since 2023. Wins over:
Ohio St, Kansas St, kansass, Iowa, Memphis, Tennessee, Florida, South Carolina (2x), Arkansas (2x), Vanderbilt (2x), Auburn, Kentucky, Miss State and Oklahoma. You can't say the SEC is good and then turn around say we haven't beat anybody.

We're used to it. Then we'll get tv ratings thrown in our face and the vicious cycle continues.
This isn't 100% true....Mizzou's ratings are shown to be low because they put Mizzou on SEC Network all the time or ESPN 2 & ESPN U.
Mizzou gets very good ratings when actually playing decent teams on a good network. The Bama/Mizzou game will do very well at 11am.
kansass at Mizzou drew 1.83 million on ESPN 2 by far the best ratings for ESPN 2 this season....next best game is Syracuse/Clemson at 1.06 million. Most ESPN 2 games range around 600K
ESPN U ratings are insanely low every year for all teams....because it's the last games chosen and ESPN U is not on every TV platform.

26-5 since 2023
This team runs the ball, can throw it and has a good defense. They look the part to me. Mizzou should have been ranked where South Carolina was to start the season. Back to back Top 10 transfer portal classes and returned a ton of talent from last year. Just because the media is stupid doesn't make me stupid
