Yep. Smaller stadiums, less noise. Also more corporate dorks at NFL stadiums.

Pick one of the rivalry SEC games. Alabama vs Aub, Fla vs Ga, LSU vs Bama, Aggies vs Bama, or Ole Miss vs State, them damn cowbells will have your ears ringing for days.

Agreed except for Fla vs Ga just due to the nature of natural site. Only time the entire stadium is loud is when UGA is whippin that arse and the jort hoes start leaving.

I wonder who has the world record for loudest stadium.

It’s probably LSU.

For some reason I want to say the record is Husky Stadium (Washington) but it's very well designed for crowd noise

Arrowhead stadium I believe still holds the record at 142 2 recorded decibel level. Washington Huskies was the loudest in college at 133.6 decibel level.
Lsu came in at 130 I believe.

MY family were Chiefs season ticket holder for over 30 years . I was there at the game when we broke the record back in 2014.

Seems like I remember a while back LSU had a game that registered on a seismograph.

Y’all losers keep bringing up this meaningless record. If a full house at LSU/UF/AU/UT/TAMU made a deliberate effort to break this at one moment like they did at Arrowhead they would.

You get a wall of noise consistently at these SEC stadiums in their prime and that’s with a good portion of fans not making noise. You orchestrate an attempt to beat it and get 99% buy in from the crowd and it’s broken. It’s not really comparable. It’s also worth noting there are no standards on how this stuff is measured.

I would think for most people it is common sense that more people can make more noise, I know design of the stadium can contribute greatly to overall noise level.

I would think LSU at night would be there loudest outdoor stadium in the US. Arrowhead or Seattle I would think are the loudest in the NFL.

I just told my boss I'm not working today, I have to argue about stadium loudness on the internet.

He said he understands and applauded me on my prioritization.

Never been that crazy about Burrow for obvious reasons, but he is starting to grow on me. I absolutely love what he said and agree completely, here is the proof, well as much proof as possible!

Joe was correct in what he said - but he just gave KC fans some motivation to be as loud as they've ever been.

Arrowhead is the best the NFL has.

I can’t see how it would be consistently louder than SEC and/or other top tier college fans.

Is Arrowhead louder than Austin and the whorls? Yeah probably but Austin’s crowd is too corporatized. Is Arrowhead louder than Florida? No way. Same for all other SEC crowds minus Vandy and Mizzou. Kentucky is probably loud per capital but I think they are a smaller crowd than Arrowhead. State has the cowbells and that shot is loud in and of itself.

I saw a tiktok where people got mad at a guy who was standing at arrowhead. He was drunk obviously and it escalated to almost a fight. I stuck up for his right to stand, but was told by many that you can't stand the whole game in an NFL game. so I doubt it gets loud if they are all sitting on their hands

NFL crowds barely stand even for the most important moments of the game. I've been to playoff games in the Superdome, which is supposedly one of the loudest NFL environments.

It doesn't even come close to games at LSU, Alabama, UGA, UF, Mississippi State, etc. And those are just my experiences.

Perhaps at its loudest moment, NFL stadiums can be comparably loud. But for the most part the NFL is a sit and clap environment.
