ND is competitive again because they've relaxed their academic requirements.
I doubt the Big10 is snootier about academics than ND.
Would the Big10 turn down Alabama due to academics?

Depends. If they were mixed up in a lawsuit against the league then no frickin' way.

It doesn't matter if LSU is guilty or innocent. They would not touch LSU right now because of this legal mess. No frickin' way.
The Big 12, however, would sell their souls to bring in LSU.

Again, none of this matters anyway. LSU is not getting booted. That's silly. This is just posturing.

LSU would turn into Nebraska at that point. Games against Northwestern and Minnesota. Yikes.

Eh? An insult only hurts if there is some truth to it. Texas is excellent in many disciplines including engineering and business. Sure the oil money helps, but the PUF will only last so long and the school will surely operate accordingly.

There is no universe that exists where the SEC or Sankey will kick LSU out. This is theatrics.

For the SEC to govern itself, it has to be willing to go all the way (expulsion) or it really has no authority. That means there is a real possibility that if LSU doesn't tuck tail, they very well could be expelled.

This is all posturing by the league office. Nothing is going to happen.

Disagree. We are going to get to laugh at LSU for a very long time.

Same with the ACC.

There is a reason the snooty West Coast schools from the Pac 12 went to the Big Ten and ACC whereas the Four Corners schools were content with the Big 12.

If (and it's not going to happen) the SEC were to boot LSU from the league, then LSU's two viable options would be joining the Big 12 or going independent.

The Big Ten is never, ever going to be an option for LSU.

I have a different take. Unless the SEC has something on them that we don't know about I just don't get it.

The SEC has been a win at all costs league for as long as I've been alive. I have NO issue with that. That's what it takes to win and I'm happy as shite we're here.

but this? The last thing the SEC needs is for conference dirty laundry to be aired out publicly. We all have stuff to hide. yes, even Texas. I'm not stupid enough to think we're above it. We play just as dirty as everyone else.

I really want to know what, if anything, the SEC has on LSU because none of this makes any sense to me.

I’m sure media execs are drooling over all 2700 working television sets in Louisiana that will tune in for LSU v Michigan state, Minnesota, Wisconsin, etc.

Oh st and fox would be drooling over lsu the problem would be Michigan. During the acc lawsuits filed by Clem unc and fsu, Mich only addressed big membership with one of these schools, fsu. They went to the media and said they are completely opposed to fsu and would never vote thrm in the big ten. They said fsu as a university was loud and not good conference mates. This is important bc Michigan has influence over a huge voting block. They are lockstep with wiscy Minnesota and usc. Oregon wash and ucla will almost certainly vote the way usc would. I would think Michigan would not be thrilled with LSU’s antics.
