How is that wishcasting? What do you think is going to happen when the TRO is thrown out? You think the SEC and Sankey are just going to not follow through after 15 other institutions voted to give him those powers?

That’s an apples to oranges comparison. A temporary resident is here legally until that status is revoked. Then they need to leave. These players can legally take the field until that temporary status runs out, which will take some time if it happens. You can’t retroactively punish someone when they abided by the letter of the law at that time.

So LSU is knowingly signing and playing professional players while this rule is in place. The rule was voted on and put into place before any players signed with LSU so it would be “retroactive”.
