Jeff Brohm consistently gets his teams ready to play in big games…he does get “upset” periodically, but his ability to motivate and coach up far exceeds what Drink has been able to do….

Brohm gets the nod from me
quote:

I wouldn’t consider them sources… but I know two former LSU players that said Lane ain’t coming and other former players don’t want him here… Landry more involved than people think… coach will be someone with Louisiana ties… they told me a week ago LSU didn’t have anyone willing to pay BK 54 million dollars and that’s why SW was fired… plus Baker and most defensive staff will be back regardless of who the coach is

I also know multiple former players and they don’t know any more than the average person does…most of what you said is wrong

Unless the former player is super tight with Ben Bordelon…then I would listen
This is rubbish and absolute bullshite.

Uhhh, he has the 8th ranked total offense in the country, at a program that fired its head coach…

Say what you want, BP is an elite offensive coach
quote:

we look very pedestrian bad shot selection all night, poor interior d

Have you not watched LSU under this clown coach??
quote:

He's also 3-3 against top 5 teams

He definitely gets his teams ready for the big games
One of the hesitations I have with Golesh is that his team is much more talented than the teams they face each weekend in that conference….not sure how to feel about that

re: It better not be Sumrall

They all loved Sunbelt Billy too!! That’s what scares the shite out of me.

No they didn’t…and Napier had been fired from Clemson.

He was not highly thought of in terms of metrics but has built an impressive program at ULL so many thought he had turned a corner….

I was not one of them
Said this earlier and got roasted by the resident idiots….logic and observations aren’t allowed here, only emotional responses
I’m coming around on him after some more research but I tend to agree that we would have to miss on several to get to him

If you listen to the big metrics guys they all love Sumrall, on paper
They play great against the run…that is coaching…the lack of pass rush from interior isn’t coaching but talent
Wow….what possessed you to write all of that to basically say you want to speculate
quote:

Go ahead and fire Thomas, he'll be out of a job for 15 seconds. In fact I bet the only school that wouldn't fire their guy to hire him would be Vandy - and they literally have an ex recruiting site guru running their operations

Instead of the hyperbole and girlfriend chatter, why don’t you expound?

Is your perspective that his evaluations were solid but there was poor player development at LSU this year?

I can live with that argument…although the defensive ends were misses and we should have traded a couple of WR’s for O-linemen
Did you know Mestemaker never started a game at QB in high school….not sure how he would hold up in the SEC…

I just don’t see LSU taking that big of a risk…I still think they will swing for a big name
by Austin Thomas?

More misses than hits on the “best” portal class….only bright spots are in the secondary and I’m sure C Ray had a lot to do with those evaluations
You are an idiot….LSU swam around in elite space for 20 years because Saban spent 5 years here….he spent 18 years at Alabama and Karen is living off the fumes….I don’t think he is a great coach at all and LSU should have won that game last nite with any semblance of competent coaching on the offensive side of the ball
Lowest point total of the year…worst game on offense from a penalty and TO perspective, worst game on offense in the red zone….as bad as Sloan is, last nite was worse….sorry you are too stupid to see that

And I can’t wait for Sloan to go, but it was stupid not to keep what little consistency you had to finish out the yesr
quote:

just a few years ago to LSU and UF may not be inclined to do so anymore. OM has just as much of an opportunity to be in the CFP as anyone else. I would be shocked if anyone like a Lane K. jump ship. IF anything, I think these schools will likely be hiring a great G5 coach or an up and coming OC or DC. With that scenario who are those names? The Memphis guy and Tulane guy have been mentioned. Would you bring back a retread who is getting long in the tooth? I would stay away from Urban M but who knows what AD's will do should CUM decide to put his name in the hat

How does it feel to post all of that garbage and be completely wrong?

I guess you’ve been conditioned to be content as an idiot for your entire life so carry on, I guess
He’s a terrible offensive coordinator but no doubt he would have coached that side up better than what was shown last nite….he definitely shouldn’t return to LSU but bad decision to have Atkins take over the offense…should have kept everyone else in place to minimize impact of losing head coach
