Nothing is a sure thing as far as coaching hires go.

They held a freaking press conference with Board Members to discuss the firing.
They absolutely gave Woodward permission and probably pushed for the decision to happen.
LSU is a clown show.
Thanks for this

Well the BOS has to give final approval to any coaching contract, therefore I'd assume it makes sense that the BOS has to approve firing a coach as well.
Not saying I agree with the BOS but if that in fact did happen does the (fired for cause) have merit?
It is still a shite show either way but we are here now thanks to Gomer Powell ( aka JL)
Does Scott Woodward have the power to fire anyone without approval from the BOS first?

The BOS is saying Scott Woodward didn't have the power to fire BK without permission.
Not sure how all this works but is that true at every institution? That the active AD can't fire anyone without approval.

2. Even if you could it doesn’t matter, because LSU missed the window to use “cause”
Not if he technically hasn't been fired yet.

If there truly was an issue prior to termination with Coach Kelly (and I am no fan of his), there should be written documentation — just like there would (or should) be for any other person working in the state, federal, or private sector from his boss, Scott Woodward.
I honestly think they were getting together a plan to fire BK at the end of the year but Scott Woodward sped that process up and screwed up the plan they had.
They were getting together information on a buyout settlement and were gathering information but when SW fired him all that got threw out the window. So now they are having to do things on the fly
Just my opinion

We should NEVER offer another contract like Kelly had
Fkn Scott Woodward
Dan Mullen, or Frank Wilson
He is the recruiting coordinator. So all players good and bad he has to give the ok on.
So if y'all have any beef with the roster it should be on Austin Thomas and Frank Wilson. They were basically running the personnel aspect of the team while BK bitch arse was golfing and fricking real estate agents.

Why when someone post a different version that you saw they didn't watch the game?
Maybe the OP saw what he saw and you saw what you saw

He should have been fired. Quit trying to make a narrative that isn't there

ND's schedule and he was a better coach then. His teams played smart and had good fundamentals. He was checked out by the time he got here.
I don't think he was checked out when he first got here.
I really think he wanted to win a NC but the way you do it at ND isn't the way you do it at LSU.
That is where he fricked up

The problem has always been the OFFENSIVE LINE
I agree with that. I just thought the mental mistakes and the penalties would have been better since BK was gone. I thought the red zone offense would have been better.
I know you can't overhaul it in a two week span but without Dumb and Dumber on the sidelines I thought the mistakes would have been better.

You hopped on this thread just to insult me.
Acting all tough in your post when you could have just stayed the frick off this thread.
You coming on here just to insult me when you didn't even have to reeks of an Internet tough guy.
I can give my opinion on anything. Doesn't mean someone has to be a condescending a-hole.
That is why I posted what I posted.
Any other questions, statements, or insults because I have time today?

Both of those guys are directly at fault due to our OLine sucking arse. They have say so on who we recruited
So does Frank Wilson being the recruiting coordinator.

Then you weren’t paying attention
You can’t just make our OL become good in 2 weeks either
You can play all around it I thought might happen.
Guess I was wrong.

Have coaches never game planned around offensive line deficiencies before?
They’ve been bad but so have Nuss and Sloan.
That is probably why they tried that quick screen so much.
They were play calling around it.
This line is so bad and the QB can't run. Shitshow is what it is

Nothing you can do with an OL.
You can try a mobile QB but even that may not work with this Oline.

Davis is the problem.
No doubt about it. The Oline we have is what we have.
Have to call plays around that bad Oline.
I would fire Brad Davis today.
