Maybe he's come around and supports his alma mater (UGA) now.
It would be in his best interest.

I saw the refs railroad LSU in the Bama game. Your wins also have a taint regardless of LSU extracurriculars.

What are the odds Brian Kelly’s replacement is… Brian Kelly?
He wants the whole 54 million!? … hey we were just joking about that whole firing thing.
LSU goes from negotiating a buyout to begging Kelly to come back.
I thought Arkansas' athletic department was a shitshow, thanks LSU.

Agreed, was overblown until now but this new development is a PR disaster.
I have said from the beginning that the situation was no more or less dramatic than a lot of coaching change drama but that Louisiana was just generally not good at keeping a lid on their drama.
I stand corrected. This is not a good look at all and getting worse by the minute.
I’m curious what LSU fans think of the impact, if any, it will have on getting the coach you want.

It will hurt them big time. They definitely aren't pulling Kiffin or Riley. They won't get Franklin either. Maybe Jimbo will work cheap?

This reads to me like they hadn’t finalized the paperwork yet and when Kelly refused to settle on a buy out LSU opted to invoke the moral clause on whatever dirt they allegedly have on him
It’s a PR disaster either way and LSU only comes out on top with this if they have something scandalous on him that the public doesn’t know about. I kinda doubt it

Sounds like Louisiana stupidity isn't just their government

This mess is the first domino in how Bobby Petrino ends up winning a championship at LSU and the Arkansas fan base finally commits seppuku.

Under the “Napoleonic Code” there must be some sort of proviso regarding contracts and such.

A look at LSU’s “representatives”….

How does any program manage to handle a coaching search worse than what Arkansas will?

If I recall, that was different - they had a McDonald's bag full of proof in that case.

Might be the worst coach search of all time. Bunch of fricking retards. Why fire CBK during the season if our ducks arent in a row to hire the next coach?

You mean the fine folks at LSU are being welshers about paying that a-hole?
I. AM SHOCKED.
I. AM SHOCKED.

People are often outraged that lawyers charge what they do.
But there are attorneys that are going to have to go before a judge and highly intelligent opposing counsel to try to make LSU's argument with a straight face. You don't do that without a massive hourly rate.
