There’s been too many games with blurry footage. Lot of reasons to get away from ESPN

Saban would be a disaster hire. He is too old. He wouldn’t know how to use the portal or NIL.

so little difference between a team in the top 5 vs ranked in 20-25
Disagree, there are ~9 or 10 very good teams and then a pretty big gap. The #20-25’s don’t stand much of a chance, which is reflected in the record of the top 10 vs everyone else
I like the general parity though. Less blowouts makes for more entertaining games, and portal helps keeps hope up.
Instead of needing 3-4 or more years to rebuild a program, it can be done in a single year now. Given LSU is staring at a rebuild right now, that is a godsend.

Meanwhile Fox had their best afternoon slot of the year ratings wise

Why do you guys want so much praise right now? Just win out and trust me, we will run through walls to either praise you or melt over you
They fear they are going to get bounced immediately in playoffs
Their run defense is a serious issue for them. They are more vulnerable to some of the weaker possible playoff teams (think TTU, possibly BYU) than the others

Wins should be judged vis-a-vis the team that you played on the date that you played them,
This does not help A&M in these arguments, yall played Missouri down to their QB3
There is no one on A&Ms schedule who was killed by timing of injuries after A&M played them

I wouldnt mind Drink, he would do a lot with our resources. If his QBs didnt get hurt he likely beats Vandy and is still in the playoff race
re: Committee is bullshite. A&M should be #1.

Bring back the BCS but include unbiased AI.
The BCS model would have OSU and Indiana in the title game this year. I don’t think yall realize how much A&Ms defense is hurting them in computer models (they are not even top 4 in FPI or SP+)
The current top 4 all can win out (and even lose their CCG) and will finish top 4 with a bye, so none of it really matters

Oregon will get in over Vandy if they both go 10-2, I don’t see Oregon dropping both of those (maybe 1)
I don’t think Texas or OU get in with 3 losses. That should clear 2 spots
BYU will lose again and drop, I don’t think Utah does. Utah is significantly better than their 3 remaining opponents
Notre Dame either loses to Pitt this weekend or goes 10-2. 9-3 they are out
I see ~3 spots opening up realistically. Even if ND loses to Pitt, Vandy would get jumped by Miami because Miami still has to play Pitt, which would give them a 3rd ranked win

Would be more interesting if they flipped Oregon with UGA so that we would get more unique matchups to watch. Bama vs UGA and OSU vs Oregon/ND are too frequent.

Outside of SOR, what numbers are you looking at?
OSU and IU are the clear top two by metrics (I.e efficiency) and stats (scoring offense/defense etc)

Didn’t Kelly give out of his own money for the NIL to contribute to LSU? Since he was still employed at the time wouldn’t that make it like the school was paying the players and that may be a no no? I actually don’t know but just want to add to the drama.
The way that was structured it was allowed by the NCAA. It was a donation match where for every dollar contributed to the NIL collective (Bayou Traditions), he would donate to the Tiger Athletic Foundation.

So frick the teams that have played tougher schedules right?
quote:
"we can only play who we schedule"
Teams who end up playing harder schedules should get acknowledged for that, but its not A&Ms fault and they shouldnt be penalized for going undefeated
Unlike some teams in the conference, they scheduled ND as an OOC and their schedule still turned out mediocre. Kind of like how Texas scheduled Michigan for OOC last year.
Schedules are always a crap shoot. Alabama scheduled FSU and Wisconsin years ago and both teams turned into complete shite by the team they actually played. LSU scheduled Clemson and we got their worst team of Dabo's career
I dont knock teams for trying to put a good schedule together. Its not like they are Tennessee scheduling Syracuse or Ole Miss scheduling Wake Forest.

Might be the worst coach search of all time. Bunch of fricking retards. Why fire CBK during the season if our ducks arent in a row to hire the next coach?

This is a no brainer. Can you get burned? Maybe a little. Can you make a life changing investment? Much more likely..
If you can put enough down to not need PMI you probably arent interested in a 50 year mortgage. If you need PMI the monthly cost of owning would exceed renting.
It just doesnt work in practice

people will never build significant equity in their housing on a 50 year mortgage, unless they make it 35+ years. There will be almost no equity in the 1st 20 years. Can you imagine paying for something for 20 years and having no equity?
Equity is important, but 50 year notes wouldnt be completely worthless for home buyers. If you live in an area where rent prices are soaring, it locks in what you pay monthly.
Where it gets dicey is it would be incredibly easy for someone to go underwater on a 50 year note. If you need a 50 year mortgage, you probably aren't putting much down. The cost of PMI on that would make my first point useless

They send every cent they make back to their homeland, pump out children who are "Americans" (and raised to identify with their homeland), dont speak the language, and make zero effort to assimilate. Everything they do (drive a car, work etc) is done uninsured, and by stealing or using the identities of others if its not under the table work (i.e. delivery drivers/uber). They take more in benefits than they contribute.
They are parasites.
