Have you seen the size of the satellite dishes that were utilized to communicate with the Apollo missions? One of those things was over 200 feet. And you didn't watch it "live" in that there was a couple of seconds of delay due to moon being really far away. And your rabbit ears weren't picking up the broadcast from the moon, but rather a broadcast of a camera trained on a monitor that was connected to the satellite array.

I doubt it gets him fired. But couple this with the SECCG and Byrne absolutely can demand that DeBoer make changes on his staff. You don't get to end the year like this and start the next one with all your buddies in tow.

Run blocking is only a small portion of the problem. On 90% of handoffs, Bama's backs just duck their heads and pray. Can't look for a hole if you're looking at the ground. The fundamentals of this offense are completely broken.

DeBoer has to make changes next week. Sheridan, Kapilovic, and Grubb need to be gone. If he's not willing to do it, then Byrne needs to clean house.

Your take away was the D getting manhandled? UGA's TD drives were 21, 56, 40, and 12 yards long. Heck, the defense has only allowed 2 TD drives of 60 yards or more in the past 6 games. There is no defense that can be on short fields with that huge a discrepency in the number of plays and TOP and not give up points. Bama's offense and special teams have absolutely betrayed a solid defensive unit.

It could almost be overlooked if Bama hadn't looked like crap since the beginning of November. The offense never showed back up after the bye week, and there's simply no way to ignore it.

They shouldn't. And I don't know why anyone would want to watch the offense that Bama has put on the field since November against any of the CFP contenders.

There is no squirming. This and BYU's slaughter bails the committee out. They can put both ND and Miami in without having to explain picking one over the other.
