Bidenomics!
biden had very little to do with inflation. congress, during the trump administration, is the biggest culprit. there were THREE stimulus checks sent to every american during Covid. that's on top of the billions and billions in programs sent to business, large and small, to continue to pay their employees to not work. the airline industry itself got tens of billions (and now the bastards are on strike). $400,000 per year pilots were getting paid not to fly. then the supply chain issues started.
definition of inflation: too much money chasing too few goods.
it's starting but it will be awhile before "equilibrium" will be reached in the marketplace, esp. when all these workers are striking. companies are very reluctant to lower prices no matter their profits. we could use Ronald Regan.

re: Oprah Winfrey faces potential backlash after being accused of starting Maui Wild Fires
Posted by Coldcushcush on 9/1/23 at 10:27 am
just another conspiracy theory. they sell. Oprah Winfrey didn't have a damn thing to do with that fire. she has recently set up some sort of trust to help the victims rebuild. there are other conspiracy theory's about how the fire started; Bill Gates did it; the US Navy did it; China did it, etc etc. it was a fricking fire and they get started all the time over the world when it's very dry. but the truth just doesn't sell in America; it's gotta be a juicy ole Conspiracy Theory.

there will be a reckoning. dealer lots are already filling up with non sold EVs. until EV's greatly increase their range and lower their cost people will buy gas powered vehicles or keep their present models. the market for EV's gets smaller now that the truth about their range, charging difficulties, etc are coming out

re: Even Weather Underground has gotten in on the act
Posted by Coldcushcush on 8/8/23 at 10:18 am
weather underground used to be great. but the founders sold the firm to the weather channel. you know, the guys that send reporters in blue jackets out near a storm (not that near) and show pictures of water in the streets and about 50mph winds blowing in the trees; all while predicting mass destruction

no way crocodiles should be endangered species. there is a hell of a difference between crocs and gators. crocs are aggressive and man eaters. i say eliminate them all (in america). there's plenty of crocs elsewhere in the world.
re: What would you do - encourage your child to have an extravagant wedding or take the money?
Posted by Coldcushcush on 8/3/23 at 9:44 am
my daughter took the money and she's never regretted it. we had a nice dinner with the new inlaws to celebrate but the young couple got a nice start in buying a house.

i'm sick of hearing the words global warming or climate change. it's probably happening but not as fast as these reporters say. EVERYTHING is caused by it according to them.
