I guess it's only fitting bc the Saints had the NFL's worst defense in 2012. Maybe we can hire Rob Ryan and turn things around for one year then go back to sucking like the Saints did

They can do it. 0 will deploy the COVID defense. Just watch.... I predict LLLSU will magically have to cancel the rest of the season after aTm... maybe not even play aTm. And the O bots will swarm on here like yapping dogs on a porch.

Watch A&M shite the bed and O pulls this out his arse. This is just the kind of game that something like this would happen and screw us for next year keeping those two old frickers Linehan and Bo. We need a full on meltdown for real change and inject some young, innovative blood into this program. Not only didn't O learn from last year, he got upset he didn't get enough credit and made lazy hires to not take the shine off of him. It still baffles me that he really thinks that he was the main reason we had 2019.

I never thought LSU would be in any kind of serious playoff contention in 2020 but to be this bad is completely inexcusable. LSU dipped in 08 under Miles, but not to this level.

The 2020 *Season LSU defense has gone FULL KLARVAN. Hysterically bad to the point you think it's parody. And with the exception of Auburn, we've only played creampuffs so far. It WILL get worse. When I look at the schedule, it's actually OLE MISS that I think will have the most yardage.

Yes, if the secondary will stop giving up a 50+ yard bomb every quarter our defense goes from worst ever to mediocre. Obviously there is talent at all 3 levels. I’m perversely impressed at how bad Bo Pelini has fricked this defense up.

Simple reason. God hates Pelini. Such defensive futility from the biggest prick in college football is enjoyed by many.

What's so funny? He's known for having great defenses and has proven his worth at LSU in the past. This is a very solid hire by orgeron once again. Our defense is going to be stellar with the talent we have and pelini coaching them up. I'm actually excited bc I thought LSU was missing some agressiveness this season with our defensive playcalling. Bo is going to bring pressure for damn sure and always has been known for having dominant defensive lines. This is a great hire, like I said. Idk why it's so funny that we are paying him 2 mil a season? He's definitely a proven DC, winning a natty at LSU in the past. Geaux tigers.

You can’t compare LSU O in 2020 to LSU O in 2019. E won’t have Burrow in 2020. Fail. What Bama and the rest of the smartness here will come to realize is that Oeaux’s team will improve in other areas. There will be a drop off at qb in 2020 obviously but you will see a young defense take stride and the O will be more than adequate. LSU may be a 10-2 team in 2020 regular season but one of the 10+ will include BAMA. We have it out for you and we aren’t backing down...

People are getting more scared. Our defenses were the shite when he was at LSU, and then he just went over to Nebraska, which we've seen how they've been performing lately, right? And averaged 9.5 wins per year over a 7 year stretch as head coach before getting fired so he could be replaced by Mike Riley, who proceeded to go 6-7, 9-4, 4-8 before he got fired to be replaced by the golden child, Scott Frost, who has gone 4-8 and 5-7 thus far.
ETA: Need to reiterate. Nebraska has had one winning season since he was fired. He never won less than 9 games a year there, and led them to 2 conference title games and a bowl every year he was there. Just saying.
He led YSU to a FCS title game. He's struggled the last three years, no doubt, but he's had mad success everywhere he's been.
Y'all is scared, and should be, because with the talent he is inheriting on this D, which includes Stingley and Stevens back in the backfield, along with No. 1 CB Elias Ricks, we should be back among the elites next year. Now, we just need Brennan to be really good, not Joe Burrow good.

They destroyed people. They were the hardest hitting teams in LSU history and played with a mean streak, trying to tear the heads off ball carriers and went after quarterbacks like a tomahawk missile. You are correct and that's some good analysis.
I believe the only thing that can save LSU is to successfully continue the playing style they implemented against Arkansas. Ball control and win the TOP battle.
They really don't have any other choice.
If they don't hold the ball, the opposition will simply throw it down field and score until the cows come home.
