It is incredible what my excitement level is with AI is and what it would be playing the Dutch game. I think we are in for a big year and that little Fabhino trick we just pulled with Vic has me nostalgic.

I love it when people say that guys like Ruth couldn’t hit .100 today! He was born like 40 years after The Civil War and was 6’3 215 before he got big. He would have been bigger than Judge if he was playing today with his genetics, same for a guy like Bill Russell etc. All of these guys would have been just fine today, they would have just been bigger, stronger and faster. I’m 58, in High School there was barely a 300 pound OL in the NFL much less in high school like now. Lazy take, just like LeBatard and Cowherd.

I understand all about grief and the “mitigating” circumstances that these players went through…trust me way too much. My issue for the team is that if he has everything he wants and all the players playing exactly like he wants I have a feeling that watching Slot Ball would still be like watching paint dry. Who is in the dugout for us and lives in Manchester? “Injury” is really the word for this season? Really? We’ve all gone through way worse injury issues here on this thread…Arthur Melo, Nat and Rhys anyone? I just don’t think this guy has any clue where he is in terms of culture and that is what makes this club special. What ever happened to not making excuses? All Slot does is make excuses and it’s never his fault. I apologize…I’m just aggravated again.

Sounds like FSG were seriously contemplating the sack but Lil Dick evidently never even considered sacking his boy, I guess he won even though he won’t be here for next season. So, now we have a Summer Window run by a man who is out the door (thankfully) at the end of it with a coach who is about as good a fit personally and tactically as Margaret Thatcher. I’ve never really disliked a Liverpool HC/Manager in my time, even Roy, but I honestly don’t like this guy. He has an over inflated sense of self and comes off as an arrogant little prick.

As a 58 year old Celtic fan I obviously love the 86 team, I can see how those Magic Lakers and MJ teams were loved but they definitely had haters even then. The only champion I've ever witnessed that didn't seem to have a lot of haters was the 77 Blazers.(minus Philly). The 78 team was better until Walton got hurt but they were a beautiful thing to watch.

Arne has worn me down to a nub. I am completely apathetic when it comes to watching us play. All the traits that I loved about Liverpool are being eroded away by this Head Coach (not manager). He wants a small squad and refuses to play certain players than whines about injuries having such a big impact. He whines about style of play yet plays a boring and worse a weak system where our players look unfit, timid and ready for this season to be over. I cannot believe we are keeping our version of Ten Hag…….Lil Dickie can frick right off to Saudi while we’re at it.

I think “he has no feel for a baseball game” is my favorite. We should really drop this bum. I wonder if Savage would leave the West Coast? I watched them the other night and his feel for the game is elite.
