Jesse, I’ve had three boxes full for over a month, same with my neighbors?? 60 mile west of Sport. I’ve had houses for over 25 years, if it gets super cold they will fly South and return when the bugs they eat come back. I’ve also had a flock come from up North to shelter over night in our houses.

Is there a decent brand anymore? I’ve got Tony’s, Zat, and Fiesta, all are tasteless green powder. Anyone sell the leaves?

I bought a greenworks electric last year. 4 60V batteries plus the chargers.
Does My almost two acres on one charge. Absolutely love this mower and it is so cool, no gas ,no oil changes, no belts cuts grass better than my neighbors Scag and it is quiet enough to mow at anytime. It has never bogged down on any height of grass ever, very powerful. Batteries were not cheap $375 each w charger but have a four year warranty.

With only one acre of grass, why not go electric? I mow 2 acres with a greenworks 42. Cuts better than most and zero maintenance, no oil no gas not belts, no starter or battery. Quiet and plenty of power 2 speeds, I only use the slow speed be cause I cut around flower beds. I’m not going back to gas ever. It has a hitch to hook up my garden trailer. This thing can run one six batteries but I’m only using four and does the whole 2 acres and can charge it back up in 1 1/2 hours.

I’ve got an electric Greenworks I bought last year. No complaints only compliments from My neighbors as it is so quiet they can’t hear it. Very power fuel and no belts, no oil, no gas, I have four batteries and they charge in an hour and half, very hot appt with the construction, everything is stainless.
Smoking at 200 will take forever. Start and finish at 250. Wrap in butchers paper after the stall 170 or so.

re: Pros and cons of parboiled rice

I used it last time I made a jam and it was below par, not as firm as usual. It’s dependable but this time no so much. Might try long grain again?
I like rice that is not mushy.
Almost everyday, lake in East Texas

Go Chiefs!

At least Romo isn’t the an owner.

:geauxtigers:
I’ve got three houses and they don’t have round holes but the crescent shaped ones to keep starlings out. You need to clean them out every year
As I’ve found dead birds in the nest after they have left. Mine are all over 12 ft high. If you are getting blue birds get some of those houses and protect those with snake guards.
