Good lord. The UT coaching search might as well be the Twitter of a 17 year old girl tweeting updates every hour.

While I really like Jeff Brohm a lot and he's better than Schiano by a wide margin, will TN fans be happy?

I thought Brohm would end up at Arkansas.

Why would anyone think he would end up anywhere

He just went to Purdue on a 6 year contract and would owe an insane amount of money if he leaves

If Tenner pays that they are nuts

Has a higher ceiling than Schiano. Not a slam dunk hire for UT, but at least it's interesting and someone the fans can get behind

Would rather have Tee Martin.

I'll take an elite recruiter over an elite schemer every time in the SEC

I think Brohm would be a good hire/who you end up with.

UT, here is how you need to play this. It's the only way it will work for you apparently.

1. Currie identifies a candidate (not sure how he is still employed, but it is what it is).
2. UT posts some kind of twitter/facebook/survey monkey poll for fans to vote for say 24 hours on the candidate.
3. If candidate is approved by the fan polling, extend a call to talk to the candidate to gauge interest.
4. If they take the call, let them know about your poll results and ask if they have any questions. If not, offer job. If they take it, post it online. If not, don't mention that you even called.
If they don't take the call, don't tell anyone that you even called.
5. If they take the job or dont' take the job, fire currie.

My bad I was confusing Brohm with Campbell. Both B1G teams you know.

Oh, and since this would leave the Purdue job open, oh look... there's a Purdue grad with SEC experience that just happens to be available.... two birds with one stone.

You said you hope Brohm turns Tennesee down, who do you want (besides Kiffin)?
