The biggest problem I see with your post is that we are very good in all sports across the board. We are not in the elite tier (except in baseball), but I would much rather take very good than what we have been over the past 15-20 years.

In the real world, most VOLS fans are great, and so are most of the people from other fanbases. I have had an awesome time traveling to games around the conference and interacting with other fans. If people treat you like assholes everywhere you go, then you are probably the a-hole.

In 2017, you QB threw for almost 4k yards and 44 TDs, and the offense averaged 37.5 ppg (13th in CFB)

Incorrect. VOLS aren't elite but have proven to be among the upper tier of CFB teams since Josh arrived. We have been through the "not very good" period and we are far from it.

We have a few decent prospects in the QB room, and if we take someone from the portal, it will be someone who chose to enter the portal voluntarily, not someone who tried to hamstring his current team for more money and got cut.
It’s not the best situation for us, but it’s a hell of a lot worse for Nico

Not to mention a state income tax and a stadium that is barely half full (compared to 100k). Along with learning a new playbook in 4 months.
