The problem is that high school baseball pretty much sucks. They are so limited in the amount of games they can play, practice etc.

Baseball is a game you have to play to get better. High School season is over after 20-30 games. I think it's the shortest season time wise also.

Once they get to High School they play showcase tourneys. College baseball doesn't have the recruiting budget that football has. They congregate kids for a weekend of baseball. The college scouts can go to one venue and see a bunch of kids play. They seldom show up at the high school games unless it's local.

It's very different than youth travel ball. The games are scripted as far as line ups go. Winning it isn't the goal. Showing players to colleges is the goal.

I’m about to see how expensive golf is. My youngest is starting to compete this summer.

Shouldn’t be too bad except for initial investment in clubs. He outgrew his beginners and has been using my wife’s. I just pulled the trigger on some Ping G430 irons. I’m glad he preferred them over the G440s. Got a decent deal with cut senior shafts.

His next set will be new fitted clubs.
Smash burgers without smoking up the house.

Steaks done properly are excellent on the griddle.
“Elite” level cardio type trading can cause:

Myocardial Injury Markers: Intense ultra-endurance efforts cause temporary elevations in proteins like troponin, which are indicators of heart muscle stress.Scarring (Fibrosis):

Chronic stress on the heart can lead to patchy myocardial fibrosis, particularly in the right ventricle and atria.Arrhythmias: The structural changes and scarring can create conditions that increase the risk of developing abnormal heart rhythms, such as atrial fibrillation.

I had a doc tell me to not regularly cycle past 2 hours without plenty of recovery for this.

Trigger finger surgery.

Well, It's time I had the surgery. I'll have three fingers, and carpal tunnel release.

Who has had trigger finger release?
What was recovery time to be able to lift and play golf?
They should have kept the C7 alongside the C8.
Ferrari builds front engine alongside mid engine, GM should have.
Could be SI syndrome. Kind of a different thing from a spinal injury. An MRI along with an eval from a GOOD PT can narrow it down.

Lumbar injections are done under mild sedation. The can be used for pain relief, along with being a diagnostic tool.

Stay with it and don't give up.
Steak or Seafood where I live. Occasionally Lost Pizza. The newish BBQ places are decent but at that price we are getting steak or seafood. I can't fathom paying more for a brisket plate than a steak.
Hamburgers or chicken wings at Mexican restaurants
Also, if you are nervous about the neighborhood, you can conceal carry in the museum. You just have to present your CCW and declare. They will check you in around the metal detector.
That was the funniest thread ever.
The food at one of the restaurants is really good. Get the oyster appetizer.

What are you trying to accomplish?
It was decent enough but it seemed like just another long episode of the series.
The biggest takeaway from Reta is that it preserves muscle mass by opening the glucagon pathways for energy. It's not catabolic.

I always get in to the history of the 500 during the month of May.

I remember the 1973 500 very vaguely as I was 5. I don't remember the race much per se, only snippets in my mind of my dad, grandfather, and uncles conversations of the Swede Savage crash. I think it's my earliest memory.

I also remember seeing the Salt Walther crash. I still have a fear of fire from that.

I can't remember who it was but either a driver, or owner basically said that the cost savings of going to a spec chassis aren't really there.

The chassis' are expensive. The race teams used to be able to recoup their costs of fabricating by being able to sell an older chassis to a smaller Cup team, NOAP team, or an ARCA team.

He also implied that they are now spending the money they used to use for fabricating and testing on engineering and sims.

We did. They stole an $86K check mailed to our plumbing contractor. They somehow doctored the check, deposited it to an online bank. Made purchases to the amount close to what they stole.

We recovered our money, it took about 6 weeks. I don't know the status of the investigation.
Ferrucci is very good at Indy. He’s never started this high before. He will be fun to watch Sunday.
