Question for the crowd: If Lindsey Miller has supposed dirt on Ole Miss, that began during the recruiting process, then what's to say he didn't also receive the same benefits from other programs like Georgia, Alabama, Florida, and others? Do you think Ole Miss is the only school that made offers? Why was he saying he was going to all of these other schools and then switched every so often before going to Ole Miss?

Just look back at Albert Means and see what the NCAA does to other schools in the fiasco.

Alabama wasn't the only one that made offers to Albert Means. We see how that turned out. Now you get to deal with. So cry a river.

This is precisely why Ole Miss is getting hammered for this. Come on man.

You got caught tho.

You're not handling this well, perhaps you need a timeout. RA'd for your own good.

He chose to sign with Ole Miss instead of those places.

He's been spilling his guts and there's been not even a rumor about violations from any other schools... If they committed violations they should be hammered too...

it's who won the bidding war that matters, not the ones who participated.

So true. During the Newton scandal no one put much thought into the fact State clearly made an offer, but they were too cheap

That's all i ever read when it came to the Albert Means deal. Many other schools placed a bid for him but it always came down to who he signed with that mattered. Boy was that so true!

Usually the benefits that would get a school under major punishment happen after kid signs and a lot of punishments also revolve around playing ineligible players, therefor the unsuccessful bidders dont get hit

Other schools CLEARLY put bids in on Albert Means, they just lost (which ended up being a win).

Ole Miss was too poor to even be at the table. Congrats on at least making it to the big leagues of cheating, I guess.

For the current OM players, what the NCAA does to the program is outside their control. However, I'm sure they are reading the message boards, watching Finebaum, & listening to domeday prognosticators. You have to wonder where they will be mentally when they walk on the field against FSU. This shite could get UGLY. Then 2 weeks later Bama rolls into town with a score to settle and it could be an arse kicking on national TV. If this happens, look for the team to implode.

Typical Ole Miss logic. Face it, your favorite school tried to get away with things that the big boys get away with regularly. Ole Miss is just too stupid to know how to do that.
