re: Let me ask directly: Do the non-LSU fans on this board want LSU kicked out of the SEC?

I don’t think it’s that anyone is actually scared of LSU; it’s just most genuinely just don’t like LSU
Feeling scared and not liking something often go hand in hand.

Not liking LSU has more to do with the fanbase than the team itself

Everyone has fanbases they dislike. Pretty common.

LSU and Memphis for me. Hands down the two worst experiences for me. Memphis was actually a little worse. I have never went to LSU, though. I can’t imagine how bad it actually gets there. Can’t bring myself to go there

So, one of your worst experiences is somewhere you’ve never gone and plan to never go to

They were so bad at our house I refuse to go there. Can’t be any better

LSU admin needs to get their house in order. The whole we didn’t do anything wrong stick is whistling past the graveyard. Like it or not, the SEC office took actions from the LSU athletic office that went specifically against things that the SEC office had released publicly personally.
Well, they didn’t

Meh, I don’t care one way or the other really. Means nothing to me at the end of the day. However it would be wild

but they haven’t declared them ineligible either which is the sticking point with everybody.
Our roster is locked with no spots left. Has been for 6 weeks.

and LSU's response apparently was, "Actually, you don't have the right to kick us out."
Link?
The SEC's own complaint doesn't even allege this.

I've been thinking about this a lot and realize I would never want any rivalry amongst my friends from pre-2012 SEC schools to go away and would hope LSU would fight tooth and nail for any of these institutions.
As for the 2012 additions, I wouldn't want to see anyone kicked out, but wouldn't be sad to see conference alignment shift in the future so we could go back to what was a perfect number of 12 with the additions of USCe and Arky. I miss our East/West divisions and the Florida game every season.
And as someone who lived in Big XII country for many years, pre-2011 Big XII was a pretty damn amazing collection of universities as well until Colorado and Nebraska had to go and frick it up.

so we want our right to expel them held up in court in case we have to use it later."
Also every 1L knows that a fed court isn't going to do this. If the SEC's ask is essentially an advisory opinion that they can expel LSU at a later date for conduct that has yet to occur, then this will be the easiest 12(b)(6) grant in this judge's tenure.

is no different than LSU dragging the commissioner to Baton Rouge for a show trial

They dragged his arse down to baton rouge and he handled the rest.
A perfect opportunity to explain the differences between the athletes he allows schools to pursue and roster, and these ones. And that motherfricker absolutely shite the bed.
In truth its because there is no difference. If there are dudes playing their 6th yr right now, then these guys should be able to play their 5th. Absolutely zero distinction physically, preparationally, or developmentally between them to say their miniscule participation in professional athletics justifies how far that yankee fig has taken this.

Some people can't handle the more intense environments, and that's fine.

Is intense a really good thing to be? Like being in a really hostile situation? Most fanbases get a little rowdy but man, they are on a different level

Just depends on if you can handle it, everyone is different.
