Looking back, I stand by my original feelings.

The juice was never worth the squeeze. What LSU stood to gain wasn’t enough for the fight. tRant enjoyed being the villain. Anyone could see the potential downside to that. Now, the football team is 4-2 and fans are bitching about officiating. Are you at all surprised that this COULD happen?

The old heads always mentioned that the conference ran through Alabama. They always suggested that LSU got the short end of the stick. Again, if that’s what you believe and if history even remotely suggests that, do you think going after Sankey on this issue will change the narrative?

I can’t stand Sankey. On the surface, it seems he hates the LSU brand, especially when Lane and Wade came along. He’s human after all, and he’s proven he’s an emotional bitch. But again, he can potentially make life miserable for us.

I wouldn’t wish any fellow member kicked out. I don’t think I’ve had any bad interactions with fans aside from a few individuals. This conference is still one of the few with a bit of a geographic brotherhood and common identity. I wouldn’t expect our 4 newest members to really understand that, but it’s true.

Governor Landry has been open about his intention to interfere with the operations of the LSU AD. He didn't say that the right people were in charge and he trusted them to take the appropriate action at the appropriate time or other such politician-speak, he said that he personally was going to ensure that Kelly was fired and the right person to replace him would be hired, and that he personally would not allow the Athletics Director at the time to make the decision of who that replacement would be.

He hated Woodward. He wanted Woodward gone. He let Verge hire who Verge wanted.

. I think it is very reasonable to assume that LSU sent some very clear signals to the rest of the conference when they re-hired Will Wade and hired Lane Kiffin, and those signals were, "We intend to play fast and loose with the rules."

This doesn't make sense tho. What Will was fired for is legal now and Lane was just at Ole Miss who is not facing accusations of breaking rules. (even tho they are)

Wade has also said he will comply with SEC on roster. Ruis is not rostered.

LSU fans keep asking, "What rule has LSU broken?" I don't know of any and it seems as though there may not currently be any. Certainly the SEC has yet to say, "LSU broke this rule and here's our proof of it," in any court filing that I've seen. This all seems to be based around intent, which is a pretty murky reason to kick a school out.

Well their new filing touched eligibility rules which LSU never violated. They also touched on LSU blocking a vote which was never a thing.

Not at all. I can name 6 schools that should go tho. With that said LSU need to be on board with SEC rules. LSU hasn’t “played” the former NFL players but they haven’t declared them ineligible either which is the sticking point with everybody.
