CBS called out Kiffin. He said in press conference he didn't like having pros coming back. CBS exposed that he had reached out to these NFL guys that were in camps offering them more money than they could get as a practice squad player and recruited them to file a suit in BR.

Anonymous source?

Didn’t Cleveland’s head coach say he misspoke when making his original statement?

so disingenuous, but i'd expect nothing less of you.

quote:

"There's a lot of parts of this I don't like. I don't think professionals should come back to college sports and college football. Do I believe NFL players should come back to college? No. However, I will operate at the highest level within the rules to give LSU the most competitive advantage as possible."

and some more of it for substance, since you liked to cherry pick 1/10th of the quotes

quote:

"In my opinion, knowing the information, I think it's really wrong to be critical of these kids," Kiffin said. "They were granted a fifth year by a judge saying that they were wronged by the NCAA and that they should've had the fifth year all along like all the kids moving forward will have a fifth year."

quote:

"In general, should NFL players come back to college? I believe -- it doesn't matter necessarily what I believe -- that answer would be no," Kiffin said. "I think every circumstance should be looked at differently."

quote:

"At the end of the day, because of these rulings, they're either going to play for you or they're going to play for someone else around the country," Kiffin said at a news conference Monday. "So we've made the decision to recruit them like probably most people are."

Like you know if Lane will fail. lol Lane did nothing wrong in this situation. and why don't you idiots mention the other schools who were after some of those players. two schools already signed players. and if Kiffin can get Ole Miss to the playoffs, imagine what he can do at LSU. people are scared of what Lane will be able to accomplish at LSU and it's shows!
